But much like the Birmingham game I witnessed multiple times the ball bouncing off him and into the feet of opposition. Last week LCFC conceded because of this. Tonight multiple attacks broke down because of his complete ineptitude in holding the ball up. He missed two very good chance before he scored as well. He may have looked good with United in league one, but at a higher level his poor technical ability is exposed. I find it telling how little a fight Everton put up to keep him in the summer. Thoughts?

You could just as easily say are the people creating chances for him good enough, they need to work him out as much as he has to work the team out? It's a two way thing.

Now please, for the love of god, allah, satan, whoever the **** you believe in, have some patience and wait till he's at least had a reasonable amount of games before casting judgement.
flowwolf Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 I did see him on several occasions holding his hands up and apologizing to Nugent , who coincidentally looked a different class to Beckford in this particular game. However I'm sure there were encouraging signs of a good partnership developing between them .

And that would perhaps be relevant if I was saying he wasn't getting involved in games, but my points is that whenever the ball gets played to him he tried to control it and ends up gifting it to the opposition.

Thoughts? I like marmalade but never really buy it or when I do have it, it goes mouldy. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe I just don't think to eat it or maybe it's like other people's crisps that taste good but when you buy your own packet, the taste wears thin. Difficult questions all round. Marmalade is a bitch. I don't think I'd invest in the marmalade business either.

All this promise and yet disappointments on a daily basis. Simply not good enough. My body should be dropped from duty. Then again, can't complain for getting it on a free. No, he is here for money, deep down we all know that, players dont drop from the premiership to this league whilst playing semi-regularly for anything else. He is here to score big goals in big games, that is what he will be judged on, we could of won tonight with Hammond and De Vries back up front.
