FFS Get Out Of Svens Arse

Yeah it was a shit result and we'll likely get hundreds of posts on here about how bad this was, how inept the players and the management staff are. And that's just from you :P Of course I'm not happy about it, why would someone you'd class as a 'Sven bummer' be happy about a 0-3 defeat? But please forgive me for not wallowing in misery because of it...

Maybe you're not bothered? You don't sound it to be fair? I'm bothered because I love Leicester City.. I don't love Sven

For me those not getting angry are those that actually don't give a shit? I do..

So people that don't think, act and react like you do don't give a shit? You self-centered twat. And I do apologize for the name-calling but really, you the way you're going, I think it's a fairly accurate description.

I would like to know where the free-flowing football we saw last season has gone.

They showed the highlights of the home win over Millwall last season before the game and the first two goals were through quick play and intelligent running, in a different league to anything we saw today.

Of course they give a shit but they're in denial

He simply has to go! Clueless tactics, poor range of signings and a lack of purpose or want to score goals. How could sousa be pushed out the door when we actually looked to score goals, but sven is protected for an unknown reason. You don't go up with slow, negative football. He's had a year and progressed little. Southampton are the perfect example, we don't come near their standard.

It's not denial and it's not black and white is it? You will never have seen me say the results have been good enough. At most you'll find me saying that I'm content that despite the difficult start, we're still in contention for the autospots. But because I'm not straight on Sven's back, I'm in denial? What happened to supporting a team when things are not going well? Some are drawing the line here after this defeat, some drew it as soon as he was appointed, I'm not yet ready to draw it.

No need for names Shen.. You're showing you're true colours again I see.

And no, to not be angry after today I don't think you can care..

Maybe you should care more? I'm fuming today..

That's because I want to see City a force to be reckoned with rather than a laughing stock

Anyway, if you're gonna resort to abuse do it to someone else

We won't get of Sven YET,nor should we. Let's get to Xmas and then see. The first half was like a training session,no energy or desire ( almost said passion but I'm learning ! ). The second half was better for 15mins, then nothing. However, having heard Sven's post match analysis,he doesn't come across as inspiring ! Surely his half time chat should've had the players busting a gut and chasing until they dropped ? Maybe his nice manner and 'No,I insist after you Sir', style is rubbing off on the players. Rant over, up the City !!! :scarf:

I don't think sacking Sven is the answer (Right now). I think we should see if where we are around Christmas/New Year time. If we're in the top half and looking as if we still have fight keep him. But if we finish below the top 6 then FFS don't renew his contract. He would've had over one and a half seasons to change it, and hasn't. Any manager that has spent £15m and as much as he has on wages can't be called anything but a failure if we aren't promoted. It isn't a knee-jerk reaction because I'm wary that we are still only 2pts away from the top-six despite that shower of shit today. But let's not kid ourselves, he's not a Championship manager. I'd gladly have the likes of Dave Jones or Billy Davies if Sven were to go. Let him receive a £1m contract at Saudi Arabia or something.

You're the one questioning my loyalty to the team and being so obtuse as to only respect your own opinion. Once again you're trying to take the moral high chair, when you were the one provoking me and insulting any Leicester fan that doesn't feel exactly like you. If anything, I should've have understood much sooner than this unreflected response, that you don't deserve the attention you're getting from me and others.

It's not difficult to take the 'moral high chair' following your previous post. I would suspect, like myself, that many passionate fans are very angry at that debacle today and the forum tonight reflects this

You can take it on the chin, I myself am angry

This doesn't mean you have to resort to name calling and personal attacks

Foxes talk for weeks and weeks, if not months has been full of accusations about 'loyal fans' and 'real fans' being the ones who get behind Sven, no matter what..

Perhaps the 'real fans' are the ones that do become angry at what is happening?

Just because you can 'walk away' from rubbish like today, it don't mean we all can

And not once have I abused you..

Anyway, as I said, if you wanna resort to abuse, do it

elsewhere

I'll always support the team, but for too long, on here, people have got slagged off for questioning sven. I'm pretty much on the fence right now, but its embarassing when fans questioning sir sven are picked on when they have nothing but objective points to make. I'm not saying you, I mean in general. People like this manage to drown out some voices of reason. As said, I support and love my club, not the manager.

Members are saying, 'give him til xmas.' Two months ago it was, 'give them time to gel' 6 months ago it was 'give him the chance to have a pre season with his own signings, not players we've had to bring in on loan'

At what point do you draw the line?

I don't think this is going anywhere. There is no 'real' fan, we all support in our own different ways, end of discussion. Thus there is no moral high chair for you to take. You riled me to the point where I felt insulted, by claiming anger is the only way to show one's affection to the club after today's result. That is a very self-centered view and quite disrespectful of others. I've not 'personally attacked' you, but if you want to get stuck up about something you brought on yourself, then I can't stop that. If you feel any of this is abuse, then report me, and if you want the last word, go ahead I won't stop you...

No problem Shen... I don't want the last word and I didn't mean to question your affinity. You seem a decent chap to be fair

I won't report you! Dont be daft..

I think all the objective points about the team, Sven's signings and tactics have been well received and discussed on these boards. But as we both know, objective view points are not what makes up the bulk of the Sven criticism (or support for that matter). Again, I hope and think that people with cool heads will evaluate on our situation and make the right decision. My patience isn't endless, nor was I ever a Sven fan prior to his appointment here, but my subjective view is that he has pedigree and quality and I believe that it will eventually click for us. If we don't have momentum and haven't at least maintained the gap to the auto spots by December, I think a change of manager would be warranted.

Knee

Jerk

Reaction.

I'm not happy with some of our performances of late, but if the Mandaric regime taught us anything it's that chopping and changing the manager does not help. Me not wanting the manager out after every set-back is not a sign of me being "in Svens Arse" - just that I'm remaining levelheaded and not flying off the handle.

We have played very well in some matches, and very poorly in others - that's to be expected, this is a competitive league, no-one is streets ahead of anyone else.

It seems to me the man just cannot win, we keep an unchanged team and lose, we change the team and people moan about not changing a winning team. People critise the 4-3-3, he changes to 4-4-2 and people start calling for the 4-3-3 again.

Do people still just hold a grudge against him for his time with England?

Oh come on now.

How is knee jerk? We've lost 3 home games already.

We clearly struggle to create.

The players do not look motivated and don't show any urgency.

This is what I've noticed over a number of games. Knee jerk reactions are after one terrible performance and result amidst a bunch of good ones.

Performances have been very poor more often than not I'm afraid.

I won't knock sven unless he continues to learn and adapt. A prime example tonight being dyer. Will he start on Saturday? No IMO, though he should do.

Reactionary because when we win he won't be calling Sven out - just as nobody ever does.

Yeh, because you wouldn't behaving a go at the poster if he did that then...

It's not OK to slate him when we've won or drawn, and it's not OK to slate him when we've just lost 3-0 at home to Millwall.

So, to sum up, you don't think it's OK to slate him ever.

Yet we've won more than we've lost so far. Playing crappy, yet still winning games? Usually signs of a good team.

Then again, we're just 13 games into the season...

I agree. Give him ten games, there are still 32 games left, win those we win the league with 25 pts in hand.

Forget we the fact after 4 months we didn't bother to sign an attacking midfielder or right winger, a hungry striker like CMS.

Just wait until we gel and this clicks, we will be awesome. Teams full of free transfers like Millwall will rue the day they came here and played these boys off the pitch.

Nearly November and we don't even know close to our best team? Well..we are just that good.

Arise Sir Sven.

If you want to mock me by exaggerating my points, try again. laugh.gif

Teams like Millwall "full of free transfers".crylaugh.gif

You know, less is often more. Try it the subtle way.

Besides, there are still 33 regular season games left and 99 points to play for.wink.gif
