Guest shearfox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 It seems everytime we get close to the playoffs, we just throw in a stinker. Millwall are a poor side and were pretty bad today as well.

Tuna Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 My assessment of sven over the last year is that he has attracted good players but has failed to consistently get the best out of them. This season so far has been unacceptable, for far too long we have underachieved under sven and you can't look at the players and say they are bad because we know they can do it. Manager's job to get results, his results have not been good enough for too long a period of time. He's a lovely guy but we have to face facts, its not working out and its time for a change.
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Three words. Re Action Ary Just don't understand you... 'reactionary' would be fair if Sven had been manager for 6/7 games..not a year! It was clear to see that we were utterly clueless out there today, utterly We just lost three nil to a side in the bottom three who were there for the taking.. Are you not bothered? There were fans today who have forked out 500 odd quid for their season tickets to see a game like that I cannot for the life of me understand how this could be 'reactionary'...

The Doctor Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Knee Jerk Reaction. I'm not happy with some of our performances of late, but if the Mandaric regime taught us anything it's that chopping and changing the manager does not help. Me not wanting the manager out after every set-back is not a sign of me being "in Svens Arse" - just that I'm remaining levelheaded and not flying off the handle. We have played very well in some matches, and very poorly in others - that's to be expected, this is a competitive league, no-one is streets ahead of anyone else. It seems to me the man just cannot win, we keep an unchanged team and lose, we change the team and people moan about not changing a winning team. People critise the 4-3-3, he changes to 4-4-2 and people start calling for the 4-3-3 again. Do people still just hold a grudge against him for his time with England?
cosmos Posted 22 October 2011 Author Posted 22 October 2011 I don't think there's a single one of us who has a grudge against sven, i do think a lot of us can see the wood for the trees-i've just binned another afternoon watching what amounts to a third division game of football. I'm not saying it's the players i'm saying there is something fundamentally wrong with either svens style of management or his tactics!
shen Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Attack the man not the argument, good plan. Only rear your ugly head when we lose, good plan
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Only rear your ugly head when we lose, good plan As usual... In Shen we trust...... You enjoyed that game today did ya!
shen Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 As usual... In Shen we trust...... You enjoyed that game today did ya! Oh come on, I was only having a poke. It's going to be awash with drama queens and slit-wrist posts the next week or so, only trying to lighten the mood.
acooling08 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 The title is great. Time and time again we have been poor but people refuse to criticise Sven. I really don't get it.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Attack the man not the argument, good plan. What argument?

It's going to be awash with drama queens and slit-wrist posts the next week or so, only trying to lighten the mood. There is no point in lightening the mood.. That was embarrassing and shameful Had enough of watching rubbish like that.. Under Sven there's been too much of it
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Just don't understand you... 'reactionary' would be fair if Sven had been manager for 6/7 games..not a year! Reactionary because when we win he won't be calling Sven out - just as nobody ever does.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 The sven bum boys are in complete denial. Only with 5 games to go and 16 points away from 6th will they suddenly realise! You've ran out of excuses chaps. Bought in too many players to change a team that missed out on the playoffs last season. Yes we have a much better team in names, but not on the field. I don't want sven to go, it'd be counterproductive in a huge way, but at the same time I really don't think he's the man to take us to the top. Bar team selection and tactical awareness he can't be blamed for today, except most managers would've dished out a rollicking at half time. Can't imagine Sven doing that. As for the disabled at the back of l1 taking the Piss because we were chanting Lloyd dyers name, if you can't see that he was the one shining light when he came on, you really should pack football in. I never thought we'd walk the league like QPR did, anyone who knows anything about football would say the same, but right now I'd be suprised if we made the top 6. It'll be interesting/embarassing if anyone digs out that thread asking where fans think we'll be come Xmas. cos right now I'm about spot on.
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Reactionary because when we win he won't be calling Sven out - just as nobody ever does. It's not 'reactionary' to feel utterly deflated after millwall have just pulled our pants down and violated us.. What the fook do you expect? Fans to be happy at that garbage? Are you Svens nephew or something?
shen Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 There is no point in lightening the mood.. That was embarrassing and shameful Had enough of watching rubbish like that.. Under Sven there's been too much of it Yeah it was a shit result and we'll likely get hundreds of posts on here about how bad this was, how inept the players and the management staff are. And that's just from you Of course I'm not happy about it, why would someone you'd class as a 'Sven bummer' be happy about a 0-3 defeat? But please forgive me for not wallowing in misery because of it...
fox ache Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Come on enough is enough-why the **** have we still got pricks on here backing sven-you need to get out from up his arse and see what's happening. Crap Crap Crap Totally with you mate, Sven won at Lazio and errrrrrrrr ?????? Lucky manager, who has done nothing but bring in a complete new team who honestly would have been beat by the Leicester team from 2 seasons ago..............with no money, can you sven lovers honestly think that some of these muppets on £50,000 a week deserve it............. and also tell me what you can see in his way of playing that i am missing !!!!!!!! Serious question
