Anybody played it yet? Looks really good from what I've seen, hopefully be an improvement to Black Ops.

I have to say I really enjoyed blops in the end, I thought it was a tidy game.

I think MW3 looks a bit gimmicky and somewhat trying too hard to be complicated but at the end of the day we all know EVERYONE will buy this game, it'll have a much bigger community than BF3, the BF fans will start harp on that theirs is the "best" franchise and neither Infinity Ward or Treyarch will give anything of a flying fuck.

It's essentially the FIFA of FPS. It's self-promoting without even trying.

yeh, i went in game to buy a headset cause mines broke. Some guys just in the que trying to flog things. I just told him I was pushing it buying the actual game for that much

I'm not the greatest but I have exceeded my expectations on this one. The old one used to have me wanting to hurl my controller at the screen through the sheer amount of times I got killed without dishing out anything. Ive actualy killed people on this one though aha

Basically MW2, except weapons do more damage (or you have less hit points), and that the support class is OVERPOWERED!!!

So I pre-ordered this and planned on going to my first midnight release, I picked a gamestop kinda out of the way that I figured wouldn't be too busy. Turned up at 11.45 and there must have been 500 fooking people there!!!! totally insane. Had to wait in line for an hour and a half, guy in line next to me said he came to the same store for Battlefield 3 and there was only 10-15 people for that.

So far I love it!

I took your whole team out straight when we spawned if that's camping then I camp.

Anyone know what the double xp thing is on the cod menu, not the one you got if you pre ordered?

Had a quick go at this last night and must say I'm pretty impressed! Played about 3 games and didn't struggle, actually did pretty well! I was pretty good at MW2 though tbf and it's pretty much the same game.

For starters I am not a Battlefield owner so have no hidden agenda, I previousley played World at War, Mod2, and Black Ops so a big COD player but oh dear Modern Warfare3 upon first impression is such a let down, bought it for the multi player ranked up to 15 so had a decent go, first impressions Graphics are worse than black ops, how can that happen? The gameplay is more or less the same as any other Call of Duty so its reliant on the maps to provide variation and interest, but what have they done here? All maps are much of a muchness compared to Mod2 maps which had Afghan, Favelas, Wasteland ,Terminal, Highrise, Skidrow ,Rundown etc etc and Black Ops which maps included Firing Range, Summit, NukeTown, Jungle,Crisis ,Launch ,WMD etc all hugely different maps which can be easily distinguished and needed players to adopt different playing styles and use different weapons to succeed, the maps on MOD3 all seem to look and play the same I cannot say I dislike or like any of them because they are not different enough,boring in other words, all in all very lazy from the game producers.

When I buy a new game i expect not to put it down, but I played in the afternoon and did not bother going on in the evening, It did not grab me and feel exciting to play.

For me this is really a step backwards for Call of Duty and the game producers must be laughing all the way to the bank, all at the expense of loyal COD players.
