luckyalex13 Posted 15 November 2011 Author Posted 15 November 2011 just that they are on their way back to the big time and will be beating Man u next season.
cc_star Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Given the table & the fact they beat us, on face value, they've more of a chance than us, if we're to laugh at them I'd hate to know what teams do to us
luckyalex13 Posted 15 November 2011 Author Posted 15 November 2011 ITS NOT THAT THEY BEAT US (BY A LUCKY GOAL) ITS THE FACT THAT THEY STILL THINK THEY ARE A BIG TEAM
Fox92 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 I don't see why you are laughing when they beat us and they a sitting in a better League position than us. Leeds are a big club, and Clayton's goal against us was great. I hate the "you're not famous anymore" song.
Dan Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 A lucky goal. Cheers for this thread, next time I want to find an unbiased Leicester fan, I'll get in touch.
ajthefox Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Possibly the best goal I've seen in this division all season. It broke fortunately for him but to say it was a lucky goal is just wrong.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Indeed, far from lucky. It was a fantastic strike, no question.
Ashley Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 lucky Claytons goal was not lucky. Watch the reply of the video again, he shapes his body for the finesse shot and he's aiming for that top corner which is exactly where it went. Not lucky at all, technique at its finest. PS: This coming from someone who absolutely hates Leeds United Football Club.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Leeds are a big club. Regardless of them being in the second division.
Father Ted Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 I hate the "you're not famous anymore" song. Of course you do, youre a Forest fan.
Fox92 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Of course you do, youre a Forest fan. I make a 130 mile round trip just for a home game, and follow Leicester up and down the country away from home. As long as I am there supporting the club, I don't really care what you call me. I just find it funny. I have been called worse by better, and I couldn't care less what people think or say about me.

It certainly wasn't lucky but I'd expect a decent Championship-level player to put a chance like that away at least 30% of the time. King's goal at West Ham was better, for one.

King's goal at West Ham was better, for one. I agree it wasn't lucky, but the goal was quality. I don't think many players would have scored that, at this level anyway. He seemed to have control in the shot, especially for a moving ball, which must have been hard to keep at a flat level. How many times have we seen players stike a moving ball over the bar? I've been looking at Adam Clayton for some time now, and I think he is quality. He is certainly very creative. I personally think it was better than King's goal, and I also think Clayton is a better player as well.

Schlupp Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 1,It wasn't a lucky goal and 2,Leeds are still a big club.

Guest ttfn Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 Score a 25 yard+ shot 30% of the time? Messi doesn't do that.... Most of the time it's not rolling out at a nice pace, with nobody closing down though. I'd speculate (obviously no factual back-up) that Messi would bag from there (given those circumstances) 6 or 7 times out of 10, but I could be completely wrong; we'll never know. Not denying it was a good finish, I just don't think it was all that. As I say I think King's at West Ham was better and Kevin Phillips has already scored 2 or 3 belters for Blackpool this season.
