Sensible answer: Tell him to take a couple of Imodium tablets before he goes out.

Is he incotenent? There are special pads he can wear. Tell him if he looks into the problem he should be able to handle it on his own without others going through his dirty laundry.

If it was meant as a joke it may not seem funny to some people. My step-dad is blind and has a form of dementra. (82) Last week when I was up there my mum went out shopping with my sister-in-law and me. She left him in the care of a nursing home that he visits twice a week. Gives my mum a rest. When we got back she had a call it appears he had an accident and couldn't get out of his chair quick enough. The staff thought it was diarrahar but it may have been the flu jab he had the day before. They had to put some tracksuit bottoms on him. He doesn't remember doing it poor thing. He has a problem remembering things now. He can remember things from his army days but not someone that walked in the room ten minutes before..

Some of my family up in the Lake District are going to get my mum a PC so she can have contact with other people via messagesboards etc that have family members with the same problem. It will also keep her occupied because he sleeps a lot during the day in his chair and she cant put the TV or make too much noise. Shes never used one but the other family members will give her some lessons..

I know we cant be serious all the time but I just thought the OP was just silly if not a little childish. No offense intended.
