sphericalfox Posted 4 December 2011 Posted 4 December 2011 As a person who enjoys cooking, and someone who very much enjoyed the silliness of the old Soccer AM, you'd think that watching Something for the Weekend would be a pleasant and enjoyable viewing pleasure. However the more i watch this programme the more and more I cringe and despise Tim Lovejoy's idiocy, stupidity and very unfunny presentational banter and uncoolness. I wish he'd stop telling me what's cool or what's in vogue. You are past your best before date Tim. Time to go in the bottom of the freezer to be defrosted at a later date and decidedly put in the bin at a point when everyone has forgotten who you are. Am I on my own here? Or am I the only sadcase who watches these types of programmes?

Unfortunately/fortunately I've been cooking since I was about 12, so sadly I enjoy cooking programmes, and on occasion they have a recipe on there worthy of trying. Now I have to stop watching it as I have to start the ironing of my shirts/blouses and sew a button on one of them. Probably from all the eating I do. I not kidding either! -1000 man points for me!

Sorry Nick you're making the assumption that this the only programme dealing with food that I might watch. I watch many different types, as I do when it comes to football, blogs, newspapers, telly etc. There is sometimes some good recipes on there. However this is slightly distracting away from the topic, of my ever-growing distaste for the celebrity un-personality that is Tim Lovejoy.

You just have to look at his most recent 'swearing' isn't funny campaign to realise he's lost it. And his new chat show is painfully unfunny.
