Given the fact they were, and are, a Premier League team and we were in League One he was probably going to go. Added to that he was a loan player so we had no choice.

Where did you hear that? He was fantastic though, better than anything we have at the moment and ripped everyone apart in League 1, seemed to make the step up to the Prem fairly easily too.

Yeah but even in that short time here he was an absolute class above. As already has been said, Bolton in the premiership or Leicester in League 1 was pretty much a no brainer.

I remember Nigel was very upset at the way he left just hours/the day before a match (I think it was Huddersfield at home) with no warning and was due to be in the starting line-up. I'm sure it was in the Mercury?

They were also all league 1 matches, I dont get it either to be honest. He was decent, but some people go on like we had Ronaldo on loan or something.
