Simo86 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Well if that's the case lets attempt 1 of these 3; Ward, McAnuff or Adomoah? They've offered him a new contract, that doesn't mean he has to or is going to sign it
bluearmyfox23 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 No but he said that if he dont sign it he will run his contract down
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Well if that's the case lets attempt 1 of these 3; Ward, McAnuff or Adomoah? McAnuff is good but 30. I don't really rate the other 2. If not Kebe and Stewart maybe Phillips from Blackpool? Other than that I'd like to get a young Premiership loanee.

As for the young prem loanee, maybe Martin could do us a favour and loan us McLean if he signs a few midfielders
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Jimmy Kebe would be a great signing i think if we can pull it off, come on Leicester
MikeyT Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11673/7410389/Kebe-set-for-Royals-exit Reading manager Brian McDermott has admitted that he is losing his fight to keep winger Jimmy Kebe at the Madejski Stadium. Kebe refused an offer to become Royals' highest earner earlier this season while a bid from West Ham United has already been rebuffed. Big-spending Leicester City have also previously shown an interest in the 27-year-old and McDermott is virtually resigned to losing one of his prized assests. "We either have to do a contract here, or my gut feeling, is that if a contract is not signed at Reading, then something will happen somewhere else," he told the Reading Post. "There will be interest from other parties, I know that. "We've had interest and we've had a bid. We turned it down, but that's all I will say."

Us vs West ham it seems, as with every other player we are linked with
Guest shearfox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Us vs West ham it seems, as with every other player we are linked with Being linked with some of the best available at this level means other big teams in this league will show an interest...
Toffee_Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Like Maynard, another player who was bid big for in the summer, and another club who will get buttons in comparison.
Narborough_fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Just what we need another inconsistant player. What's with Franck Moussa in your sig?
EnderbyFox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 What's with Franck Moussa in your sig? good spot !
Schlupp Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 What's with Franck Moussa in your sig? A wardrobe malfunction
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 West Ham have matched our bid http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2082822/West-Ham-snub-4m-Toon-offer-James-Tomkins.html?ito=feeds-newsxml while West Ham have also matched Leicester's offer for Reading winger Jimmy Kebe.

Yojoe36 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 He'll go West Ham. He'd be a fool to turn down almost definite promotion
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Yeh cos he's gonna choose us over West Ham Well probably not obviously but i can hope cant i
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Well probably not obviously but i can hope cant i I wasn't referring specifically to you
Jaspa Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 He'll go West Ham. He'd be a fool to turn down almost definite promotion He had an on field altercation with a Hammer earlier in the season, took the peas and got the player sent off in the process. When ever he comes up against us he visibly steps up his game, and to me, that shows wants to leave an impression on us. Not that I completely want him here, too simular to Lloyd.
FoxTrott Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 So just looking over Toffee Fox (Fourth_Official's FoxesTalk account) on the 2nd of September, he posted: Kebe - This was pretty much deal on yesterday morning, due to the fact Everton accepted a bid for Yakubu in the morning, Leicester had Kebe on stand by, Beckford trained with Everton yesterday and only got told of the deal being agreed at around 3pm Because it was so close before, and I do trust Fourth Official, it must surely mean he is and has been interested in playing for City for whatever reason. If it was pretty much a done deal, LCFC must know what he and Reading want price-wise. Should go through this time!
David Guiza Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Would love us to sign Kebe, great player on his day and is miles better than Dyer. Can't help but think that a lot of our fans would be on his back straight the way with how little he defends but he makes up for it going forward. Would be surprised if we signed either Sharp, Stewart or him though purely down to our position in the table, even though they could greatly improve it. Hope I'm wrong though.
burni Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 I think nigel will get him playing good football if he comes. Been a bit inconsistant alot say but i seen him at home this year and caused alot of problems, of which id like to be on the side creating them! Maybe similar to lloyd but i think hes got a bit more about him, after all hes got all this attention. maybe not though but in nigel i trust
