Callabinho Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Im worried that, the only reason he would come to us over West Ham, would be for wages.... And do we want that?
HEGGSY Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Im worried that, the only reason he would come to us over West Ham, would be for wages.... And do we want that? This. West Ham are clear favourites to go up where as were mid table, he has an almost certain chance of playing PL football with WHU, however I would love him to join and if WHU have matched our bid then the ball is in his court.
Marmite Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He will go to West Ham for sure, better chance of playing in the Premier League next season. Think about it if you were not a Leicester supporter you would choose West Ham
Bettsy82 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He will go to West Ham for sure, better chance of playing in the Premier League next season. Think about it if you were not a Leicester supporter you would choose West Ham He will go to whoever offers him the most money. Probably us , money talks. Don't think prem football is a factor.
Happy Fox Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He will go to whoever offers him the most money. Probably us , money talks. Don't think prem football is a factor. It is whether NP wants a money orientated individual or someone that wants to come here to play for the club.
brookfox Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He will go to whoever offers him the most money. Probably us , money talks. Don't think prem football is a factor. That'll be the same West Ham who are allegedly paying Nolan something like £60k p/w.
Marmite Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He will go to whoever offers him the most money. Probably us , money talks. Don't think prem football is a factor. How can premiership football not be a factor ? Everyone wants to play at the highest possible level they can West Ham are probably the only team outside the premiership that can match our wage offers

Corky Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Maybe Mills can try and convince him? I wouldn't be surprised to lose out to West Ham.
Bettsy82 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 That'll be the same West Ham who are allegedly paying Nolan something like £60k p/w. Allegedly that won't be true pal.
Bettsy82 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 How can premiership football not be a factor ? Everyone wants to play at the highest possible level they can West Ham are probably the only team outside the premiership that can match our wage offers If you were offered the same money to play in the prem or the championship which would you choose? It's not a forgone conclusion that he will go to west ham over us. If that was the case why did mills choose us over wolves I could name a lot of other players that have had the chance to sign for a prem club but have chosen to stay in the championship instead. It's all about money mate and nothing else players will go to clubs who pay them the most.
MPH Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Maybe Mills can try and convince him? I wouldn't be surprised to lose out to West Ham. I dunno.... the way some of our fans have started to slag him off he will probably warn him from signing for us....
paddy Agyemang Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Not that buffered if he comes or not tbh I'd rather scout an unknown player from abroad or non league and at pay next to nothing
wolfgang amadeus Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Not that buffered if he comes or not tbh I'd rather scout an unknown player from abroad or non league and at pay next to nothing What does this mean? I think everyone would rather we signed an amazing player on the cheap, in fact, if its that easy why isn't everyone doing it?
MPH Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Not that buffered if he comes or not tbh I'd rather scout an unknown player from abroad or non league and at pay next to nothing hows your football manager game getting on?
Tielemans63 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Not that buffered if he comes or not tbh I'd rather scout an unknown player from abroad or non league and at pay next to nothing Chucks Nwoko is your man. Only £250k on Champ Manager 2004. Great player.

I mean let's face it, if you think you could perform at top level you would at least give it a try. And who knows what else you could achieve if you could perform at Top Level??? Perhaps a bigger club going in for you. Sadly I think if West Ham are sniffing about he will more than likely go there, sad fact is they are more likely to get promoted than we are!

Adster Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 So yeah my mates mates uncle just 'supposedly' saw Kebe in Roxy Chippy in Leicester! MUST be true that he's signing then
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Chucks Nwoko is your man. Only £250k on Champ Manager 2004. Great player. For CM 2004, the man to get is Sam Parkin from Swindon for 375K. Scores bags of goals, even in the premiership. In real life however..
Alexikokopops Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Well your mate is chatting sh*t pal, I've seen him 2 to 3 times under their new manager and he has been class, willing to take his man on when can and looking to supply Maynard at all times!! I'll bet you a chicken drumstick his mate has formed an opinion based on more than 2 or 3 games
Fox1651 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 So yeah my mates mates uncle just 'supposedly' saw Kebe in Roxy Chippy in Leicester! MUST be true that he's signing then Proving the old addage "when the chips are down, Jimmy Kebe will come and save us" . . . . . . . .or something similar
