bluearmyfox23 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 He has only been good once when I have seen him and that was at their place think it was last year? But he must show something for all these managers to be after him?
leicesterisme Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Well your mate is chatting sh*t pal, I've seen him 2 to 3 times under their new manager and he has been class, willing to take his man on when can and looking to supply Maynard at all times!! Same here, whenever I've seen Adomah play he's really impressed me. He is a bit like Dyer just the difference being Adomah has a far better end product then Dyer.
Marmite Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11673/7410389/Kebe-set-for-Royals-exit Looks like he is set to leave
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 MAYBE.... just MAYBE we dont actually have a bottomless pit of money to delve into this January..... We don't... just don't tell the Hull fans that.
MPH Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 We don't... just don't tell the Hull fans that. i would rather they did know so we dont get pulled into a Maynard thing again!
wolfgang amadeus Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 A cardiff fan on another forum seems to think that they're signing him so I wouldn't write us out the race just yet.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Do u know how much Bert? He is not worth anything over 1.5m I don't think?
Happy Fox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Alright winger certainly better than Dyer would like us to get Jamie Ward and Stewart as well then we would be fine in that department.
DarkTranquillity Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Do u know how much Bert? He is not worth anything over 1.5m I don't think? Isn't he out of contract in the summer? If so, i'd guess the bid will be less than 1m.
butterslcfc Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I remember watching Kebe single handedly destroy us at the Madjeski last season, a part in all 3 goals. Pure pace, him on the right and Lloyd on left for me.
Kitchandro Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 I remember watching Kebe single handedly destroy us at the Madjeski last season, a part in all 3 goals. Pure pace, him on the right and Lloyd on left for me. He should have created about 6 or 7 though considering the positions he got himself in. Yes he destroyed us with his pace but his final ball on the whole was terrible. That game summed him up.
LCFC FOX Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Bert keep up the good work! Keep posting and ignore the haters.
foxfanazer Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Isn't he out of contract in the summer? If so, i'd guess the bid will be less than 1m. yeah he is and quite a few reading fans have said on their forum that they'd happily take a million for him, hopefully they mean that because he out of contract and not based on performances
foxfanazer Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 No definitely based on performances. Is he really that bad!?
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 £1.75m http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/293640/Leicester-to-make-new-Jimmy-Kebe-bid LEICESTER boss Nigel Pearson will make an improved bid of £1.75million for Reading winger Jimmy Kebe in the next 48 hours.
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 I guess it is a small price to pay for a winger of decent quality certainly not my first choice but their aren't really many options available at the right price unless we want to overspend which I doubt.
acooling08 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/16428977.stm Reading winger Jimmy Kebe offered new contract Reading manager Brian McDermott says the club have offered winger Jimmy Kebe a new two-and-a-half-year deal. Kebe, 27, has played 20 times for the Royals this term but is out of contract at the end of the season. The Mali-born player has been linked with a January move to both West Ham and Leicester but McDermott is hopeful he will decide to stay. "I spoke to Jimmy on Tuesday and I want him to stay, we made him an offer," McDermott told BBC Radio Berkshire. The Reading boss added: "Jimmy now has to digest the offer." Reading signed Kebe in January 2008 from Lens while he has also had loan spells at Chateauroux and Boulogne. He has played 158 times for the Championship side, scoring 24 times. McDermott added: "I've also spoken to the board and they have said he is going nowhere and that is where we are at this moment in time. "It is a two-and-a-half-year-deal that we have offered him." Kebe is free to talk to other interested clubs now as the January transfer window is open and he is in the final year of his deal, while he could also leave Reading for nothing at the end of the season. It is a dilemma McDermott says the club have to consider. "The board have said they are not looking to sell him," he added. "I understand how it works and if he decided to see out his contract then that is up to him and if he decides to sign a new contract then we will be delighted."
bluearmyfox23 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Well if that's the case lets attempt 1 of these 3; Ward, McAnuff or Adomoah?
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 This window is going to be so frustrating I hope not but it is going to be very difficult to get our top targets.
