Saxondale Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 When we were going through our SPL rejects phase.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I had a University exam the next day. Got 24% in it because I celebrated a bit too much. Damn you De Vries.
HEGGSY Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 http://news.bbc.co.u...cup/4565028.stm Brilliant Night. De Vries for that night only
Guest nathan. Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I still remember that chest down for his goal
StanSP Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 6 years ago. As soon as Gudjonsson played that ball through to De Vries, I was jumping all over my living room. Great moment.
leicesterseddon Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I remember thinking 'What a goal!' when he struck it...then getting back and watching the highlights, and seeing that he actually completely shins it! That guy was an utter donkey, he really was.
sdb Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Who was Smith? I'm getting old, I went to most games back then (bad times). Their side looks pretty crap now too.
dobbylcfc Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Who was Smith? I'm getting old, I went to most games back then (bad times). Their side looks pretty crap now too. Was Ryan smith wernt it?
FoxTrott Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Got De Vries' shirt, signed, from this game. Doesn't seem three years ago at all.
Kitchandro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Remember it well. Couldn't believe we'd done it and live on the BBC as well, brilliant night. I remember Gary was presenting and for his intro he said 'we can assure you that there will be no bias in this studio whatsoever'. Then the camera zoomed out and the table was draped in a Leicester City flag
Narborough_fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Oh god, the memories. Probably one of the best games I have seen down the Walkers/ KP. De Vries
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Swear its 6 years to the day and not 5 years.
ajthefox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 "Leicester striker De Vries was a thorn in Tottenham's side throughout the match"
MikeyT Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 De Vries, Elvis Hammond, Rab Douglas and Stephen Hughes. Bloody hell!

I remember Gary was presenting and for his intro he said 'we can assure you that there will be no bias in this studio whatsoever'. Then the camera zoomed out and the table was draped in a Leicester City flag I'm pretty sure that was against Blackburn in the next round because he has ties to Spurs as well. Still, you're right, it was brilliant
Guest Bilo Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 But Craig Levein had bravely brought on Hammond after just 35 minutes and reverted to a 4-4-2 formation - sparking a transformation in the home team. Not sure what's worse, the fact that Hammond brought about an improvement or the fact that Spurs were torn to bits by him!
HEGGSY Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Got De Vries' shirt, signed, from this game. Doesn't seem three years ago at all. That's because it was 6 years ago

sdb Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Was Ryan smith wernt it? Oh yeah, few brilliant games for us, then nothing. Remember him tearing Sheff Utd one afternoon.
