I remember taking the piss out of Erasure back in the day and not taking them seriously. But listening to them now I can appreciate they were actually a very good band.

Same, treated them as a bit of a joke back in the day but like quite a few of their songs now. As the years have gone by, I’ve become far less of a music snob.
