Looks like you guys are more bothered about what pub to go in than the result :P

To some extent you can't argue with that. For many of us, its a day out, away to a top Championship side. Ok, we didn't get a 'massive' premiership club and originally we were pretty disappointed in the draw. That said, we are Division 4 now and haven't been in the 4th round since 1996.

We are having a great season so far, 1 game away from Wembley in the JPT, 4th round of the FA Cup and 3 points off top in Div 4. We are on the up and enjoying the ride.

So, yeah, it we win it will be tremendous, but I think for most, its more about the occasion and to see how we perform against Championship opponents, which is where our board hope to be sooner rather than later!!

I am looking forward to curry and beer afterwards as well, whatever the result!!

Sound, your supporters seem like a decent lot, should be a good day all round. Looks like your bringing more than Forest did!

Hi All

Swindon follower here in peace

Really looking forward to the game on Saturday, good day out with up to 4,000 coming up to your ground, ffirst trip for me to the new ground, as for our chances well as long as we make a good account of ourselves then anything else is a bonus as the league is number 1 for us

Couple of questions

who are the players to watch out for in your team? for us we have Caddis Ferry and Ritchie along with our new signing of Benson we are somewhat weaker on the left

Were is a good pub within easy distance from the ground? real ale and so on with TV

also were is good to park Saffron Lane?

All the best looking forward to saturday

Stratton Boy

Good subterfuge Stratton, watch Rafa destroy them from the left hand side.

City boss Nigel Pearson may have to add forward Paul Gallagher to his list of absentees for Saturday's FA Cup visit of Swindon. The creative attacker was withdrawn during the first half of Monday's 2-0 win at Southampton with a back complaint and it remains to be seen whether he will recover in time for the weekend.

Pearson already has Andy King (foot), Martyn Waghorn (hamstring), Darius Vassell and Jeff Schlupp (both knee) missing through injury and continues to be without defensive duo John Pantsil and Sol Bamba, who are on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Danny Drinkwater and Liam Moore are both cup tied, having played in the competition for other clubs already, while Nathan Delfouneso does not have the necessary permission from parent club Aston Villa to feature.

The Foxes head into the game looking for a third straight win in all competitions, having beaten Southampton 2-0 at St Mary's in the league on Monday and Nottingham Forest 4-0 in their third round replay a week earlier.

We really are down to the bare bones for this game, luckily it's mostly out of form players that are injured else we'd be in trouble! I'll be really surprised if we have a full bench

lol

I assume by this response this is an ongoing joke on here. But to clarify, no, i enjoy Indian food and the East Midlands, I am led to believe have some of the best curry places in the UK.

Thanks looking forward to the day we have now sold 4200 tickets so a good away following however the important game for us is next tuesday away to southend by the way great result for you on Monday at Southampton do you think you are a better team under Pearson?

Right now I think it's still open for debate if Nigel is a going to do a better job than Sven, but our form and mentality has taken upward turn since an abysmal home defeat to Barnsley two weeks ago so things are definitely going in the right direction for NP. The FA Cup is my favourite competition so I can't wait for Saturday now and hoping to avoid an upset, but I've seen City crash out the Cup in a quarter final at home to Wycombe so no banana skin can upset me that much any more.
