I'm basing my view on this and the fact that Paolo used to be an active member of the Lazio Ultras as a youngster - not on 'something I've read on the internet' but thanks for assuming I was stupid anyway. To be fair, it was tongue in cheek to begin with but never mind eh?

Ha Ha - Paddy I wasn't assuming you were stupid at all - I was merely trying to point out that the man is an awful lot different to a lot of the rubbish that has been spouted about him over the years...Sorry if my post came across that way....

The salute can be interpreted as a Fascist salute and often is - but the history behind it within the Lazio camp is different - If I had scored in front of 55,000 and they were all doing this salute to me (as is tradition at Lazio) I might also get caught up in the moment and make the same one back

Unfortunately he is then branded for the rest of his days as a Fascist - which is why I put the link to the article which might dispel a few myths....

Anyway no matter - everyone has their opinion :)

Did you see how long that article was?

Do you honestly expect us to read it?

Di Canio is a facist

Dave Jones is a kiddy fiddler

Sam Allardyce is taking bungs

It doesn't have to be accurate to be true in the world of football.

(It was an interesting article though, even if I didn't quite finish it, I've always been entertained by Di Canio even if I am not sure I like the guy.

Kasper

Peltier - Mills - St. Ledger - Konchesky

Drinkwater - Danns - Wellens - Dyer

Nugent - Beckford

Subs: Smith, Kennedy, Taft, Moussa, Gallgher, Delfouneso, Howard

EDIT: Is Drinkwater available or cup tied?

So who in the Swindon team should we be afraid of? Or in the case of Drinkwater which Swindon players will we be buying if they play well against us? ;)

Our right side is pretty good usually - Caddis at Right Back links up well with Matt Ritchie at Right Midfield - Ritchie can whip great crosses in with either foot but he is mainly left footed

Aden Flint at Centre Half usually wins everything in the air

Simon Ferry in Centre Mid is a great box to box midfielder

Personally I think we can be a little weak down the left side, and it really depends how the strikers play (and which ones are selected !!0 - I would think Paul Benson is the one to look for :)

Leon Clarke

EDIT: Nvm, it seems Chrissy P has purchased him!

Do you think they will be able to stand up to Beckford Nugent and Delfouneso? Are you hoping for a win or will you be playing for a draw and then get us back to your place?

Posted

We wouldn't know how to play for a draw - shutting up shop is not our way

We will come and play football definitely, but if we get a draw and back to our place I would be chuffed to bits with that :)

Will be going for a win - that's the Di Canio way.. if a draw comes along , so be it, although that will disrupt our planned date for the Southern area final of the JPT home to Barnet, which probably is the more likely way to get to Wembley this season.

We know all about Beckford from his time with Leeds a few years back and the way they always get the decisions at Elland Road..

Your wide front men need to be good defenders if not your full backs are gong to be under pressure.

No-one at this end will guess the team as Di Canio changes it week by week to exploit any weaknesses in the opposition, judging by your last two results you probably don't think you don't have any....be sure that if there is something ...Di Canio will have a plan to exploit it or them.

How many fans do you reckon Leicester will have on the day ? Guess there was only about 14000 against Forest in the replay.

If we play even 75% as good as we did the last two games we will win end of. It don't really matter how well swindon play or what your clown of a manager thinks he as found as a weakness .

WE PLAY WELL YOU LOSE

WE PLAY AVERAGE YOU MIGHT JUST MIGHT SNEAK A DRAW

WE PLAY SH*T YOU WIN

14000 for a tuesday is pretty good especially being on TV so this is a Saturday it's cheap and we've scored 6 without an answer from 2 teams in the last 2 games so i'm expecting big numbers at the KP

I'd guess anywhere between 22 - 25000.

Didn't Delfouneso play for Villa in the last round?

We are struggling for players as Gally is doubtful, as is Moussa. Konchesky picked up his 5th yellow last night, is that a 1 match ban? Moore and Drinkwater cup tied as well. I'd be tempted to go 5-3-2 if all of the above is the case.
