broughtonblue Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Just got the latest email from city, and it contains an offer to upgrade to the fosse club for £10 for one of the remaining fixtures, with a programme included its only really £7. Have any of you been in there, would it be worth it? If enough of us do it we could even do 'we love you'!
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 they want even more money from us for poor performances by the sounds of it

stourbridgefox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 I went in there for one game actually. It was quite good. Instead of burgers, pasties and hotdogs, you get chilli and chips for the same price. You can also go into the lounge bit at half time where you get a free cup of tea or coffee. Believe it or not, there is also a bit of atmosphere in there too. Not atmosphere you can hear on the other side of the stadium, but the old duffers in there get a bit excited. I wouldn't pay £6-700 quid a season for it but if there's an offer on, it can't hurt to give it a try. ps - the Birch came in and had a chat with people too.
thybluefox Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 If you've never been then it's probably worth the 7quid just to see what it's like. Obviously just don't expect to stand or sing, unless you like being told to sit down or singing on your own of course! I wouldn't go and sit anywhere else now tbh, even if the ST is a bit pricey. Although that's half to do with the people around me.
blue army 1988 Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Would rather sit outside in the ground tbh
davieG Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Would rather sit outside in the ground tbh You do it's only before KO and at half time you go inside if you want to. I had a free upgrade the other week, coffee and programme was good to get and the padded seat considering you only get to stand if we score or someone needs to go to the bog. Apart from that it's not a lot different.
Head Honcho Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Every time I make it up for a game I always go for a hospitality package and would definitely have a season ticket in one if I lived in Leicester. Well worth the money in my opinion.
BrummieFOX Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Best thing about it is you can have a cracking shit at half time.
jonthefox Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Best thing about it is you can have a cracking shit at half time. You mean they actually have bog roll in there. classy.
Houdini Logic Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Sometimes when they allocate my seat to away fans in the cup I go across to the dark side of the stadium and occasionally pay extra for this (assuming it's he same as the cup game upgrade type thing I'm on about). Definitely worth a shout if you plan on sitting over there anyway...
5waller5 Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 I've got a season ticket in there ... was £750 so for a £7 upgrade seems like the season ticket price, as usual, is a complete rip off!!! The coffee is bloody awful at half time, and not worth the queue, but the bar is always accessible and it's warm at half time!! Seats are good though ... and padded.

My ST wasn't that much. I thought the same about the cheap upgrade but as its only 1 match I cba to get my knickers in a twist.
