The People's Hero Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Where is that article about 'when Norwich reach the QF and draw a BIG club they will have made over a £1million from the FA cup' I think it might read even better with the benefit of hindsight from an LCFC perspective. It seems Norwich folk do a good line in counting chickens, not just molesting them.
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Norwich will be fine in the league. But that was a real opportunity missed for them.

blueharmie Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 2-1 stick that up ur Jeremy goss. The only high risk you had today was us beating you and we did it well. Where are youuuuuuuuuu.

I'm particularly fond of the comment at the bottom by a Naaaarch fan who refers to them as a 'Glamorous' Premier League club
Raw Dykes Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I'm particularly fond of the comment at the bottom by a Naaaarch fan who refers to them as a 'Glamorous' Premier League club Same here! Lambo is godFriday, February 17, 2012 SJ, to be fair though this is Leicester's cup final. I can understand why so many of their fans would want to come out of the woodwork and see their team up against a glamourous PL team. Realistically I'm sure they know they'll be on a hiding to nothing and just seeing it as 'a good day out' regardless of the inevitable cricket score. Hahahahahahaha! Glamourous!? Norwich?! Hahahahahaha! Unbelievable! I suppose he thinks Wigan, Fulham and Swansea are also glamourous just because they are PL? Sorry fella, doesn't work like that. Inevitable cricket score, you say? Hmm... I hope your words were tasty.
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 We've come out of the woodwork? Yeah, we'd never take more than 2.4k to other games would we?
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 We've come out of the woodwork? Yeah, we'd never take more than 2.4k to other games would we? Clueless. Then again I expect nothing less from a side who have suddenly become good. They forget where they were 2 years ago.

THEFATBASTARD Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 why is it every time we well beat a team, its their worse performance for many years...? strange..
ithuriel Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Who cares, they were soundly beaten and if they are still up there when we reach the PL again we will send them down
Babylon Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Was shocked reading their boards how many of their fans seem to have gone all billy big time thinking they have made it. In my experience as soon as people start thinking like that they quickly come tumbling back down to earth. I remember Blackpool fans giving it large not so long ago and that came back to haunt them. They are living the dream at the moment and are rightfully very happy! But people wake up from dreams eventually, they need to hope it doesn't end up a nightmare.

flowwolf Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Clueless. Then again I expect nothing less from a side who have suddenly become good. They forget where they were 2 years ago. Yes and where they will be in two years time back where they belong.
Babylon Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 40yrs of waiting for Blackpool though, so I'll forgive them. Don't mind people being happy, Blackpool thought it was easy and they were safe and started mouthing off a bit. Got the same vibe from a few people on the Norwich boards also.
MrSpaM Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Norwich can stick there 5-0 predictions up their arses! they honestly thought we'd be a complete walk over
Raj Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 I think we'd be just as bad if we were mid ish table in the Premier League in our first season would we not? Clubs like ours should realise that there is always a Wycombe at home lurking around the corner to fcuk your club up well and truely. Enjoy success while you can cos it can change very quickly...

Got the same vibe from a few people on the Norwich boards also. Yeh Blackpool were insufferable, they loved rubbing it in to us. Even before they went up that season they had a chip on their shoulder though, when we were discussing the play-offs they couldn't understand why we would expect to beat them when we'd beaten them twice already that season. They're a very sad bunch.

I certainly would be towards some clubs yes, remembering how they've been in the past to us. Forest, Derby and Cov would be getting it obviously, and a few others. I don't know why Norwich would have a 'thing' about us though. I know it could all blow up in our faces very quickly, that's football, but if you're doing really well isn't bragging about it part of the fun? What's the point in being successful if you're not going to make others feel bad?
Babylon Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 I think we'd be just as bad if we were mid ish table in the Premier League in our first season would we not? Most definitely, but i'd still be here telling people to stop being a big headed plonker.

You are not allowed to use the ''W'' word, it still upsets me.
