Salieri Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Hats off to those who went and created such a fantastic atmosphere.
Jackirius Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Most of my Norwich supporting friends (the ones not chewing on sour grapes) have commented on our excellent support today, fantastic stuff lads!
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Thought we were excellent. As I've said before, when we're underdogs the fans usually back the team to the hilt. Good noise, good variety of songs and great celebrations. Superb.

mhs123 Posted 18 February 2012 Author Posted 18 February 2012 to you who were at the ground, how were you treated by the authorities ..
AoWW Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 to you who were at the ground, how were you treated by the authorities .. No problems at all, as far as I saw. Standing throughout, as well.
fordy Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Watched the game live at a pub in Leicester, marvellous performance and the Leicester fans came through large and loud, absolutely brilliant.Proud to be LCFC.
acooling08 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Those 2400 were the hardcore singers. If we had taken a full 4200 the stand'n'sing would have been diluted with sit down cucumber sandwich fans. Sounded epic today, inspired by a great performance from the team.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Most amazing away day ever, was electric, great support
Guest Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Why can't we make this much noise at home??? Cos those few thousand that go to most aways are scattered about all over the KP to be fair. Unbelievable support today, first time in ages I've enjoyed myself at an away as much as that. No voice left at all but totally worth the epic drive down from Manc
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 to you who were at the ground, how were you treated by the authorities .. No problems for me, the stewards and police were fine.
Simmo86 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Best end since the Cardiff playoff semi, non stop throughout. Epic celebrations aswell. Can't wait to see the highlights
Gforce19 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 This gives an example, absolutely Brilliant. I was disappointed not to be in there but it was great watching from the other side knowing we were pissing off their fans beyond belief. well done everyone who was there cos you were brill.

I think we could have at least doubled the attendance (given the chance), there were plenty more who would have loved to have gone and i'm sure contributed to the superb atmosphere.
Matt Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Did I read there was no Police escort? So much for being branded 'high risk'....obviously not that high risk to warrant an escort though? To me that shows it that it's exactly what we all thought - Norwich City FC spoke to Norfolk Constabulary and the Norfolk SAG and got them to agree so they could get all their home supporters in therefore not giving us our share of tickets.

No, weren't kept in either.
norfolk-fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Listened to game on radio norfolk and all i could hear was Leicester fans. Commentators mentioned the ticket allocation few times and surprised and disappointed that we weren't given more tickets to create a better home v away atmosphere
Simmo86 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 No, weren't kept in either. I thought we were being kept in but then I realised everyone just wanted to stay for an extra sing song!
Simmo86 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Also got started on outside by some middle aged hobbit!
Gforce19 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Also got started on outside by some middle aged hobbit! These are the typical Norwich supporters. Clearly Norwich broke the rules on this situation. Are Leicester going to take this further?
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Best atmosphere and support ever. Didn't stop singing once! Best day of my ****in life!!!!
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 How many people were standing? Did anyone actually sit down?
Corky Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Oh, and we had two Steve Walshes in the ground today. The former player was on my row, got to shake his hand.
Simmo86 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 How many people were standing? Did anyone actually sit down? From where I could see 100% Maybe a few at the front?
dannyjpage Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Just got home from todays game. absolutely amazing being part of the atmosphere. My voice has gone from singing. i hope we did all the fans proud that couldnt get tickets.
