fox in the sox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Lesta lesta lesteeer lesta always has been my favourite chant. Mine too! I thought I was the only one who loved that chant. Very strange cus there's only one word to it.
GingerrrFox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Today was the greatest away day I've been too, possibly the best game ever! The Norwich fans we ran into before the game were giving it the biggun saying it was gonna be 3-0 or 4-0. Then in the away end couldn't here the home fans at all completely out sung them as one, united blue army! The atmosphere was electric combined with nerves, excitement, passion, tension etc etc etc WE'RE GOING ALL THE WAY! LESTA, LESTA, LESTA, LESTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
AoWW Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I knew their fans would be quiet, but seriously...
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Same here i feel like iv missed something I'm clinging on to the hope that we'll get to Wembley and everyone will say that is the best game they've been to.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Loved it but i had my fingers in my ears and my head in my lap for the last 10 mins... slowest 10 minutes of my life.
Foxy Bingo Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Never experienced anything like it. Up there with the best away days ever. Never stopped singing for more than a minute at a time and not one person was sat down. Shame I didn't see Nugent celebrate the second goal as I was at the bottom of a pile on... HAPPY DAYS
Halfsy Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Atmosphere was incredible today, and i think the players really responded to it. They were absolutely delighted at the end, and Nuge gave it massive big licks for his goal! Haha! Probably the best end i can remember since Hereford, Southend promotion party, or Barnsley the season we were relegated. Hope for much of the same on Thursday night, but a home draw in the Quarters please!
Unabomber Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 does anyone have any links from any Norwich fans praising our support? Can't seem to find anything.
AoWW Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 does anyone have any links from any Norwich fans praising our support? Can't seem to find anything. LAATBA on the pinkun (3rd post down) was more positive about our fans than theirs... http://services.pink...2/ShowPost.aspx
NCFC1-5 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Your support today was top draw, the best we've had here this season and probably longer. I think the club dropped a massive bollock with the ticket fiasco, possibly down to the act that with little over 20,000 season tickets, plus super members and members, we did use the incident in Leicester to our advantage, as Earl Hickey would say karma is a funny thing. Our fans never really got going, we are normally spot on and probably stunned that you never shut the hell up and gave us a chance. Mad support, be a lot of lozengers sold in Leicester tomorrow. Well done, good result, great support, deserve better than the championship if you carry on backing your team like that.
ozleicester Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Thanks to the players and the crowd, proud to be a Leicester fan today
Vlad the Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 And leeds late winner bagged me cool 180. Nice.
Dan Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Absolutely gutted I didn't go now, hope Derby's like this, or better - the quarter final. God I'd love Bolton away, we'd take absolutely loads there and could potentially be the same as this.

Well done, good result, great support, deserve better than the championship if you carry on backing your team like that. This. If the fans who were there today can give the rest of the home support a kick in the gentles our atmosphere could be amazing. Well done those who went. Listened online & it sounded fantastic
davieG Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 BBC 606 The Last caller was a Naaarrwwiicchh Fan... He said he got on the train with his 2 kids... IT WAS FULL OF LEICESTER CITY FANS... Some of them got up from their seats and let him and his Kids sit down,They Poured me a BEER and gave my kids some sweets and sang us some Songs !!!
Babylon Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 What? You mean our high risk fans didn't beat them up. We must be slipping.
Zingari Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 What? You mean our high risk fans didn't beat them up. We must be slipping. think about it man giving people beer and sweets is totally irresponsible , what about all the health risks no wonder we're classed as high risk
Vlad the Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Doesn't everyone know how bad alcohol is for you, and sweets for the kids? Think of the teeth. We are far more high risk than I could ever imagine.
Babylon Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 think about it man giving people beer and sweets is totally irresponsible , what about all the health risks no wonder we're classed as high risk I suppose you are right! Never accept sweets from strangers!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Fantastic atmosphere. Best away ends that I've been to since Fulham away 07 or Reading away 05. It wasn't just the noise, it was the fantastic new chants mainly due to being "high risk". Our fans responded perfectly to this high risk bollocks. We backed the team completely, took the piss out of their fans (and stewards at the end ) but backed our team to the end and they got us the result. The result means so much more to me after this ticket bollocks too. Also, my now favourite player Nugent scored the goal <3. I LOVED the way we completely ruined their version of the left side / right side chant lol fantastic they all just shut up. That really was the perfect away day.
SantiagoFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Great day out! Someone did say that the police came into their pub and said the ticket allocation was nothing to do with them and they'd have been quite happy with 4,200. Maybe all of them except the Chief Constable. Stopped at a pub in Rutland on the way back which was already full of singing City fans. Any chance of replicating the atmosphere and team commitment on Thursday ?
