Leicfox Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 http://www.mcfc.co.u...-recent-conduct Carlos Tevez has today apologised to all concerned for his recent conduct. The striker returned to the football club last Tuesday, following a three month absence from duties, without permission. Carlos said, “I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence. My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City Football Club.” Carlos has also withdrawn his appeal against the Club’s finding of gross misconduct which was due to be heard by a Premier League panel in the com.
Guest shearfox Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Did he just take a look at the PL table....
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Well Mancini said he will only be aloud to play if he apologized, looks like he will be playing for Man City soon
Corky Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Just need David Haye to do the same and the world will be a good place again.
Guest MattP Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Most bizarre apology of the year so far. Good to see he finally realises it after 8 months and 7millIon.
Daggers Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 Well Mancini said he will only be aloud to play if he apologized, looks like he will be playing for Man City soon Glossing over the words which make my eyes hurt, he's spent his time dicking about on golf courses and eating steak & chips - he's not playing football anytime soon, he's fat and unfit.

Does gordo mean fat? I'm seeing if I remember any Spanish
Daggers Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Does gordo mean fat? I'm seeing if I remember any Spanish Claro que si, señor.
Mack Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 That's about as sincere as Hitler popping up and apologising for WW2.
GLC Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Apparently he's been in the gym everyday in Brazil and won't take that long before he's match fit
Mack Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Apparently he's been in the gym everyday in Brazil and won't take that long before he's match fit The bit you missed was that he was in the gym..... bar.
Langston Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I know he's not come out well from this fall-out, but I'm pleased he'll soon be playing in our top flight again. Superb footballer to watch and infinitely more talented than the hilarious but inconsistent Balotelli.
AyewJoking Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 No denying he is a fantastic player but Man City should tell him to get lost. He has treated the club like sh1t even though they have been harsh towards him( which they are entitled to do). Looking at the bigger picture though, Man City are like a rich old man with a shed full of expensive gardening tools, Tevez being a top of the range garden strimmer. They dont really need him but they may as well use him since they pay so much to have him.

Looking at the bigger picture though, Man City are like a rich old man with a shed full of expensive gardening tools, Tevez being a top of the range garden strimmer. They dont really need him but they may as well use him since they pay so much to have him. It no longer works that way of course. Players like Tevez can take the piss knowing they'll be forgiven because of all the money involved. Yes, he's an exceptional player. A returning Tevez won't hurt City's title chances and Tevez knows that any success will only keep his value high. It's all strategic and has nothing to do with Tevez wishing to reform in any way. It would be easy to say he'd never be allowed back through the door of any club I managed but it's not true... if the owners wanted him back there'd be no choice and the decision for the manager would be whether to accept it or move on and there aren't too many places you'd get a better contract than at Manchester City. So it would be a question of moving "on principle or not" and where would you go in the money-go-round of top grade football where principles would hold firmer than anywhere else? Some people would as soon kill for even relatively small amounts of money so if you're going to build a career standing on principle you'll likely find you're the only one standing - and on a very small box.
Fox since 1993 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I would let him rot in the reserves. Tevez is a fantastic football but no player should b allowed to get away with what he did.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Never understood why Tevez would not want to play and be part of what is a great Man City side, without doubt he is a mixed up individual who will be trouble for whatever club he is at. Now he has said sorry he can go back to playing football and being paid a fortune for the privilige of doing so. He is lucky to be blessed with such talent and living a life many just dream about, and lucky for being given another chance at Man City.
Corky Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Would he have gotten into your title winning teams Mark?

He thought he could bully Man City into selling him and thus earning himself and his agent another sack of cash. Good on City for standing their ground.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 He must be on so much money now how many clubs around the world can match his salary? Judging by the transfer window none, no deal could be made with either Milan club, not sure about Barcelona and Real maybe they just did not want him and does he want to go and play in Russia?. Good player who has got himself a bad reputation through greed.
ajthefox Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Prize cvnt. It's a shame that such an insincere gesture will probably be enough for him to eventually get back in the squad and earn another ridiculously valuable contract where he wants one. If there's one footballer who doesn't the gift he has, it's fookin Tevez.
Simo86 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 If I supported City I wouldn't want him back. Too little too late. The spoilt cvnt!!
Langston Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 If there's one footballer who doesn't the gift he has, it's fookin Tevez. Erm, no. He's come from a fairly impoverished background, I doubt as a child he could ever even dream of earning the cash he has. He's always been Joorabchian's play-thing, and, while not condoning his actions (his behaviour has been selfish) - to say he has a 'gift he doesn't deserve' is a ridiculously ignorant thing to say. It's been downhill since he left Boca and fell into Joorabchian's hands at Corinthians. The unimaginable wealth and characters in the game seem to have corrupted someone who started out in football as a brilliantly talented yet humble chap. Oops. I meant - **** **** **** **** ****. What **** he is.
