carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 am i the only person on here who wants brum in the cup ? its easier to get too. cheaper to get too . and cheaper tickets aswell . i also think we aint got no chance of beating chealsea at the bridge. midlands derby against a championship side or a long trek to london to play one of the best sides in the world ??????????????????????? i know wot i would prefere
Viral Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I know Chelsea will be a long shot, but we tend to play a whole lot better against the big teams
acooling08 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 But we'd probably lose to Brum as well. Much rather have a day out in London at Stamford Bridge and see some world class players, than go to the shithole that is Brum and see a woman beater score against us.
Libertine Dream Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Whatever will be will be, we're going to Wembley

HangerLCFC Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 true but i think we have a better chance of beating birmingham ? I think if we get brum we will be humiliated, if we get Chelski, we might have a chance
Salieri Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I think if we get brum we will be humiliated, if we get Chelski, we might have a chance What are you basing this bizarre 'logic' on?
SaltyDog Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Yeah I'm down with a day trip to the Bridge.... Yes, we may stand more of a chance of progressing to the semi's if we play Brum but as already said we do tend to play better against the bigger clubs... Bring on thhe Chelsea!
carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 I think if we get brum we will be humiliated, if we get Chelski, we might have a chance against chelsea away ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I would rather go out to Chelsea in the cup than birmingham, longer journeys are alot better aswell! Not really a long trek aswell, it's only like 3 hours max!
carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 cud be in for a right going over if chelsea are top of there game
carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 so far am the only one who wants brum question who is the better team chelsea or birmingham ?
21st Century Fox Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Chelsea. We took Man City to a replay, we can take advantage of the strife at The Bridge.
LCFC_Bradders Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Chelsea arent in the vest of form, we play better against 'big' teams... Bring it on!
carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 Chelsea arent in the vest of form, we play better against 'big' teams... Bring it on! they might be in a few weeks though might be there only chance of winning oat this year
Dan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I'd take either, don't get me wrong to get to the last 8 and go out to Birmingham would be gutting but whatever the case it's a ruined fixture by Sunday. God, I can't stress how much I despise Sunday early kick-offs, seriously the most sterile atmospheres possible, I'd take fvcking Monday night over it genuinely.

Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 the shithole that is Brum and see a woman beater score against us. Birmingham - best city in the Midlands.
carlhltid Posted 24 February 2012 Author Posted 24 February 2012 Birmingham - best city in the Midlands. best city for ?
BrummieFOX Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Whatever will be will be, we're going to Wembley Ah, good point. Birmingham - best city in the Midlands. Agreed.

carlhltid Posted 25 February 2012 Author Posted 25 February 2012 Can I just point out that not all Leicester fans live in Leicester, as a Londoner I would love Chelsea at the bridge!! true but i bet theres more leicester fans in leicester than in london
thybluefox Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I do see the bizarre logic behind wanting Chelsea. We'd go there with no pressure, all the players would be well up for it, the crowd would be bouncing and there'd be no expectations. Go to Brum though, and we'd be expected to be competitive, and we all know what usually happens when that's the case.
Callabinho Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I would rather go out to Chelsea, than get pushed over by Birmingham
Fox92 Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 To be fair, although Birmingham are supposed to be the "easier" team (than Chelsea), they are on the up and I bet confidence is high in their camp. I do think that our best chance of going through would be at St Andrews though, as I still can't see us getting something at the Bridge. Having said that, we seem to do better against the bigger and "better" teams, and there is no doubt I'd take a point at Chelsea. In terms of getting to the game, yeah, Birmingham is easier to get too. We'll just have to wait and see though, because I can see Birmingham taking Chelsea all the way in the replay. Tough game to call in my opinion.
