birmingham in the fa cup

To be fair, although Birmingham are supposed to be the "easier" team (than Chelsea), they are on the up and I bet confidence is high in their camp. I do think that our best chance of going through would be at St Andrews though, as I still can't see us getting something at the Bridge. Having said that, we seem to do better against the bigger and "better" teams, and there is no doubt I'd take a point at Chelsea. In terms of getting to the game, yeah, Birmingham is easier to get too. We'll just have to wait and see though, because I can see Birmingham taking Chelsea all the way in the replay. Tough game to call in my opinion.

Same here. Next season.

We'd have half a chance at the bridge especially if AVB is still in charge. Brum are unbeaten at home all season..

Just a shame I won't get to tick either off the 92 as I've already been to both :(

For ease of getting there I want Chelsea. Also, given that I think we'll lose to both I'd rather us go out like plucky underdogs to Chelsea that just get beaten by a fellow Championship team lol

I'm just looking at it from the view point, I've already been to Brum this season, which was shite so I'd like to go to Chelsea again and have a bloody good away day, come what may....

would rather have a dysfunctional Chelsea than an in form Birmingham

The Amazing Birmingham who are losing at home to Forest?

watch the turn around in the second half now

My head says Birmingham for all the logical reasons, cost, ease of getting there and what I think is an easier tie regardless of form.

But in reality, I want Chelsea. A big day out for a match which will no doubt have a great atmosphere and that we know the whole team will be able to get themselves well up for.

just seen birmingham update on sky there is about 10 watching mind you it is forest and they are winning

so if we get brum we would the stadium to hower selfs brum 1-1

I can (sort of) see what they mean. We'll raise our game for Chelsea, will we do it to the same level for Birmingham?

If we did we'd have a far better chance against Birmingham.

We're underdogs whoever we play.

But I just can't imagine the players (And fans) would see us as underdogs against Birmingham, take things for granted and it'll have loss written all over it.

Chelsea, we'll raise our game, be clear underdogs, still won't be an easy game but think we'd put a better performance in against Chelsea.

Originally I did think Chelsea would be better/easier (Not easy, but for the reason i've explained above i'll call it 'easier) for us to play and a better day out but now i've had time to think we do have a more realistic chance of beating Birmingham.

I want Chelsea away, better journey and more fans.

We do better when we are high underdogs, in both games we won't be the favorites but I can see us doing well and be more up for it against Chelsea than Birmingham, If we lose against Chelsea I would be annoyed but I would be even more annoyed if it was against Birmingham, I have never been Chelsea so really want to get them! :)

We were high underdogs against Norwich, no one said we would beat them and look what happened? Same against Chelsea, our fans will be better at chelsea aswell winning or not winning, whereas sometimes we be quiet if we are doing shit against championship teams, just like Birmingham in the league this season, wasn't that great of an away game

you'd never watch a world cup hoping England got Argentina in the quarter finals instead of Denmark would you?

to me wanting Chelsea is the same.
