He[s the most consistent Centre back we have !! So i say........... credit where it's due........let's hear it for the boy !!!! Amen !

He's on international duty next Wednesday and I'm not sure if he will be available for Saturdays game at Coventry and if we win it might be hard for him to get back into the side! Larry_LCFC Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I must admit I do have a soft spot for him now. Took a lot of guts for him to come back into the team and show us what he is capeable of. And in a way I think he is like Beckford - a confidence player. Show him that you believe in him, and he'll perform!

Leicfox Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I think the collapsed transfer to Boro for around £4m back in 09/10 really messed with his head, as before that he was definitely one of the best centre backs outside of the Prem. He's impressed me with his attitude after being placed on the transfer list and hopefully that's a sign of St Ledger relighting the passion and returning to the sort of player he was before the Boro fiasco.

He is always on the team shirt for me, whereas Bamba is now a backup and Mills has gone to Leeds. £1.5m wasn't he? What a bargain! Him and Kasper have been the two top bargains this season!

Libertine Dream Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 It's clear the guy is enjoying playing atm and he genuinely cares, proven by his fist pumps/celebrations at Norwich and Derby. Also has time for the fans and the media which is nice to for a player to do so
