Captain... Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 No he won the ball and passed it back to Schmeichel. It's only blocking off if you're not in possession or you've not won the ball. He didn't win the ball, he was passed the ball by SSL, if it had happened when Nimley was dribbling into the box then there would be more of a case but Nimley was the one trying to win the ball off us.
Walker Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 What was the atmosphere from our side like? Anyone hear any new chants etc...?

Yes he did win the ball, he clearly helped it on it's way back to Schmeical. Nimley ran into him like the playacting twat he is and won a penalty. Justice was served when it was saved.

I think you missed my point, Morgan didn't win the ball, he was passed it by SSL, admittedly badly, but the ball was in our possession so he didn't need to win the ball, we already had possession of it.

Morgan won the ball I meant EDIT: Oh yeh I see what you mean now. It was the wrong decision anyway.
Corky Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 how should you have scored mor we had a pen saved you goally saved a great sho it first min aand we shaved the cross bar Because we (Leicester, the team in dark blue) could've scored more past your keeper (in green), which has nothing to do with how many Coventry (sky blue shirts) could've scored past our keeper (in the black jersey). Hope that clears it up for you.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 What was the atmosphere from our side like? Anyone hear any new chants etc...? First 30 mins not too good TBH - out sung by Cov early doors although they sat down when they were 2-0 down - no new chants to my disappointment but some good humour from L1 ("Dad, what's a rent boy?" is not a question I enjoyed answering!)
Salieri Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 Finally back home after an excellent weekend away in Leicester, chuffed with the performance and result. I haven't been up in a while and was impressed with the improvement in the atmosphere. I was in J3 row FF and was able to stand and sing for the whole game which was great. First time i've witnessed the 'we love you' chant at first hand and, erm, loved it! Even joined in with the Poznan. Coventry 'fans' were plain awful, funny at the end when that muppet had a go at the steward and got chucked out! Won £120 on an accumulator yesterday as well which went a long way towards paying for the trip, so all in all had a brilliant time. Bring on Brizzle away on Tues and hopefully another small step towards the top 6.
Corky Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 Coventry 'fans' were plain awful, funny at the end when that muppet had a go at the steward and got chucked out! I loved the way they celebrated our missed penalty. "Yessss, it's still 0-0" Play up Sky Blues
NeilyBoy Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 I loved the way they celebrated our missed penalty. "Yessss, it's still 0-0" Play up Sky Blues So you didn't celebrate when they missed theirs?
Corky Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 So you didn't celebrate when they missed theirs? I did, I just didn't go mental like they seemed to.
rico Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 I did, I just didn't go mental like they seemed to. i agree,it was like they had scored the way they were going mental So you didn't celebrate when they missed theirs? just gave em the V's
ScouseFox Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 In all fairness they've only scored 7 times away from home all season. I'd be celebrating every time we crossed the halfway line if I was them.
Saxondale Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 I loved the way they celebrated our missed penalty. "Yessss, it's still 0-0" Play up Sky Blues True, I reckon that is the most excited I've ever seen a set of supporters after a missed penalty!
Simmo86 Posted 4 March 2012 Posted 4 March 2012 So you didn't celebrate when they missed theirs? They celebrated like they'd just won the Champions League! Bless um. least they had something to shout about on their last big day out for a while!
