Guest ttfn Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 We have an uncanny habbit over the years of ending other teams poor run of form. This was so on the cards teams on bad runs knowing they have us coming up must be praying for the game to arrive. You can just see em sat after another loss oh well lads leicester next up that 3pts in the bag. Hadn't Millwall lost 8 in a row when the came to us? And Ipswich drew having lost 7 of the previous 8 I think. Unbelievable.

Libertine Dream Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Just walking away from the ground, very disappointing. We were flat and dull from the start and played at their level throughout, never got going. The defence seemed very shaky at times, the midfield lethargic and the front two didnt get great service, but likewise also seemed flat. Morgan confirmed some fears I had when he signed about a lack of pace and poor distribution but it was just an off day for the whole team so I won't single anyone out. We didn't have the desire we had at Derby and if I'm honest some looked disinterested but fair play to Bristol City they made it difficult and ultimately scored more goals than us. They always looked more likely to score than us a)because our forward play wasn't great b)we werent great at the back c) their centre halves played well. Dread to think of the over reaction on the phone in but in reality our season is over like it was after Watford, there can't be any more false dawns. Lets look to next season and enjoy our days at Wembley!
HEGGSY Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 FFS this bloke wasn't even listening to the game. He was at a fvcking restraunt
foxer Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 What a waste of time that was. Why do we do this against piss poor teams? Work is gonna be hell tomorrow!

Tried to say right from the off that Morgan's Achilles heel is his lack of pace as was pointed out to me by a couple of workmates (forest fans)... In a one on one he's gonna struggle. Was what I was told.
GingerrrFox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 You know what we are Leicester City we've never been amazingly successful like big clubs like Man United etc! For me I expect us to be inconsistent its how we've always been the ecstasy and the disappointment knowing us we will probably beat Reading comfortably on Saturday. I never question players commitment because they want to win as much as we do it's called win bonuses....eventually we will get the combinations right and we will succeed! Come on everyone WYS the whole world smiles with you!
stix Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 FFS this bloke wasn't even listening to the game. He was at a fvcking restraunt Restaurant = Maccys

Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 We have too many average players, clearly not good enough to get us out of this division in a positive way
Babylon Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 but in reality our season is over like it was after Watford, there can't be any more false dawns. So the season wasn't over then after Watford then, it can't be over twice.

EnderbyFox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 This guy has been going on about playing Delfouneso for about 5 minutes, blissfully unaware that he hasn't been here since the Derby game

The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Looking forward to Pearsons interview Why not just listen to his 'identi-interview' heard after many other disappointing performances and results this season? He almost certainly won't say anything new. There will be some pregnant pauses as if to suggest he has to think about whether or not he is disappointed (but of course he is disappointed) and there will likely be a promise that no one at the club will be giving up and that its business at usual at LCFC. Until he uses the word 'redouble' in a post match interview, he won't get my respect. Also, exactly how smashing is this bunch of lads? We deserve to know.

In a one on one he's gonna struggle. Was what I was told. Funny because he's not really had any problems in the last three against pace. One bad game in 4 = shit?!?!?!?!?
