The People's Hero Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Pearson looks in the mood to scapegoat someone and fall out with them. Is scapegoat a verb?
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I still think we need a hard bollocking midfielder someone that will take the midfield by the scruff of its neck. We need decent wingers and a target man of quality. It is a building project not a quick fix lets hope NP knows which players he wants and gets them fit and firing for next season because face it the stark reality is we need promotion and the pressure to go up next season will be 10 fold what it is now. Hallelujah...
skinnydipper Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 This wouldn't have happened if we still had Kenton and Hammond
EnderbyFox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 This wouldn't have happend if only the players didn't wear them bloody earphones on the team coach
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 He looks like a fu cking psychopath. I wouldn't fookin argue with him !!! Mills is either brave or thick as pigs shite!
Guest Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 This wouldn't have happened if we still had Kenton and Hammond Or indeed Alan Maybury who could literally play anywhere...... Well, when I say 'play'......
Guest Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Forest lost Stop trying to cheer us up, this is the place for misery, scapegoating and general nonsense!!
skinnydipper Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Or indeed Alan Maybury who could literally play anywhere...... Well, when I say 'play'...... Was he a ginge ? Great footballer and ginger to boot. Bastard
Guest Bilo Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Pearson looks in the mood to scapegoat someone and fall out with them. Is scapegoat a verb? I believe it can be interchangeable between being a noun and a verb TPH, so yes.
Happy Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Stop trying to cheer us up, this is the place for misery, scapegoating and general nonsense!! Come on you know love it, lets pray agent Cotterill knows what date we are relegating Forest.
Guest Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Was he a ginge ? Great footballer and ginger to boot. Bastard He was ginger but I'm not sure I'd label him as a great footballer. Bastard maybe
marbelladave Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Credit where it's due Dave... You got it right again tonight. I must admit I thought we'd win. But you're predictions have been pretty spot on recently. Unfortunately. Several things about tonights game were predictable - We would not really be up for it, they are relegation fodder after all... We will play 4-4-2 and they will counter with an extra man in midfield... Our midfield gets overun, fails to cover the back 4, as usual... Under pressure we resort to the hoof, to the only strike partnership in the division that can't win a thing in the air... So fooking predictable it can not be true, but it is.....
svensson Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 So predictable, but it had worked in 7 out of the last 10 games.. yeah you know your football alright....
21st Century Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Just got back from the game. To say we're inconsistent is a massive understatement! Our distribution from defence was appalling. We passed sideways at every opportunity when going forward, allowing them to get everyone behind the ball, but even then managed to get hit on the counter on numerous occasions. Everytime we scored we had a job done attitude and just gave up. Urghhhhhhhhhhhh.
Corky Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Several things about tonights game were predictable - We would not really be up for it, they are relegation fodder after all... Biggest issue for me, and one that concerns me for next season.
The Guvnor Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Just got back from the match, what is it with Bristol f>cking city been to the last 4 matches at Trashton gate lost three drawn one. We couldn't cope with Stead too quick for Morgan and too physical for St Ledger, they bossed everything in the air. Nuge had one clear cut chance which he would normally have buried, very disappointing performance
iamafox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 We were pre-season favourites for promotion and we've lost to inferior teams like Doncaster, Millwall, Watford, Barnsley and Bristol City, the latter have just done the double over us and they were favourites for releagtion! I am not going to persistently put up with this bullshit, it is just totally UNACCEPTABLE!
Happy Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I am looking forward to pre season the best time to be a City fan their is no pressure we usually have a great time new kit comes out, new players we sign, all the optimism, pundits think we are going to win the league.
svensson Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 iamafox, ive got an idea, go support a club that wins every week...
