Saxondale Posted 9 March 2012 Posted 9 March 2012 Still debating whether or not to go, cost being the only hurdle. I genuinely cannot believe how expensive the trains are these days.
Iwan Roberts tooth fairy Posted 9 March 2012 Posted 9 March 2012 If there's a group of say 6 of you going, we found it cheaper to get a train from Rugby to Euston for £20 return and then a taxi from leicester to Rugby £50 return.....works out to about £28 per person, which is probably worth doing considering a direct train from Leicester to London is about £50

Milton Keynes Fox Posted 9 March 2012 Posted 9 March 2012 If there's a group of say 6 of you going, we found it cheaper to get a train from Rugby to Euston for £20 return and then a taxi from leicester to Rugby £50 return.....works out to about £28 per person, which is probably worth doing considering a direct train from Leicester to London is about £50 OR if you get the cross country train from Leicester to Nuneaton then Nuneaton to Euston it'll work out cheaper for you
