dannythefox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 So it will be a Train to st Pancrass and Tube to ??? How much will the tube cost anyone know ??? What Train will the Majority be catching any idea You'll need a day pass, look it up I think it's zones 1+2 it's about £7 I think I went last year to watch Liverpool!
Matt Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Went to the Carling Cup game a few years ago, despite losing it was one of the best away games i've ever been too and one of the best performances of that season - not hard considering that season we were relegated to League One, but that was one of not many games that season I was proud of the team. Can't wait.
gazfox9 Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 It was definately a penalty. Of course it was Dennis.
lestajigs Posted 7 March 2012 Author Posted 7 March 2012 Hi Lestajigs I live in Putney, for many years now (2 stops from Stamford Bridge on the tube) & I use a pub called the Fox @ the top of the High Street. Very much a football pub. All me Fulham footy mates frequent there & give a few Chelsea fans some light hearted stick!! Across the road from the Fox is a Wetherspoons called the Railway. Opens from 9am onwards. Further down the High Street towards Putney Bridge you have the Whistle & Flute. Walkabout. Slug & Lettuce. On Putney Bridge itself you have the Dukes Head. The Larrick & a few others. The latter 2 probably more Chelsea to be honest. Cheers for the info mate,

As for London, for those asking an Oyster Card is definitely the way to go. Just remember to "touch in" and "touch out", otherwise it will cost you a bomb. There was something in the Evening Standard tonight saying that Londoners are paying an extra £66 million a year because they forget to do this. West Brompton is the tube most go to for Stamford Bridge.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 when is it? wanna go but unsure if ill be able to get it off! Because if you were that desperate to go you obviously wouldnt even know when it was.

I've got an Oyster Card which I got when I had some family living in London and still use it when I go London for games but i've always just used it the go through the barriers as you do, am I doing something wrong? TBH it must need topping up soon as I don't use it all that much but I must have bought it about 4 years ago, can't remember how much I put on it, wasn't that much and i've never needed to top it up.
dannythefox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Just booked my train from retford £64 train plus £8 for a travel card plus I'm in sheffield for the kell Brook fight the night before! Its going to be a mental weekend cant wait!
lestajigs Posted 7 March 2012 Author Posted 7 March 2012 So fox travel is leaving at 8,30am, so Im guessing it will arrive around 12, that's brilliant if true, few beers before hand!! Seems a bit early for FT to arrive though

Not all stations have barriers, so if you forget to touch in or out when walking into a station it'll charge you full whack.

LCFC BEAST Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 I'm an under 18 ST holder so would it be better to get a fox travel or train and tube? In better terms, how much will it cost for a child train and tube?
