There was no way he was going to be able to do anything with that. As for the backheel if that had dropped into Nuge's path, which it very nearly did, there may well have been a good chance on. People moan about slowing play down and not attacking with any intent, that's one thing Beckford has been doing today.

We really lack flair, apparently to such a degree that even our own supporters start dissing when a player shows some... Most of the flicks haven't worked this season. When then do they look great, but lets get the basics right first. If we don't keep the ball we won't score. Look at Swansea currently for reference.
