ozleicester Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Mills, meets Mills.... You see what we shouldve done, was not pay 5 million for him to begin with.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Classic Leicester fans. Matt Mills has gone from an over-priced liability with a bad attitude, to our saviour, in the space of 3 weeks. And do you know what he's done in those 3 weeks to earn this? Absolutely fvcking nowt. Hehe youre always good for a laff Dan to be fair. Ridiculous ain't it. Yes, maybe give him another chance, but again, the reality he was just another hugely overpriced, average at best defender. No better or worse than any of the others IMO.

I don’t think Mills is the saviour of LCFC and yes he is overpriced and maybe average, but after conceding 9 goals in the last three away league games there is a need to have a look at all others options i.e. Pantsil, Mills Funny thing is looking at all our defenders we should have a decent defensive unit and one thing I expect from a Pearson side is to be sound defensively. I’m sure with a good pre-season will be ok in this department next season.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think we should let the manager manage. You what! lol lol lol

You know, complicated managerial stuff, like stopping Peltier from getting so far forward and making him concentrate on defending or giving one of our central midfielders a more deep lying role covering the back 4......
Captain... We conceded 3 goals, at least 2 of them were Mills fault.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 i dont think the problem is Mills or no Mills it is purely can we actually defend as a cohesive unit? Until then who knows who are best back 3/4/5 are? Personally i would give Mills another chance but not because im a big fan or anything, just dont think he could do much worse than our last few defensive performances and although stats dont mean much necessarily i thinks stats wise we are better with Mills than without
smokey Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Mills will be gone in the Summer anyway so doesnt matter and with only a few games to go we wont see Mills again unless desperate on injuries! Him and Pearson came to blows so he is finished with us, simples!
yorkie1999 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 A bloke at the match yesterday told me that mills was dropped so we don't have to pay reading the full fee we were supposed to pay because he hasn't played enough games, doesn't sound as exciting as head butting Pearson, but sounds more likely
coolhandfox Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 ..erm and what happened in Mills' last away game? We conceded 3 goals, at least 2 of them were Mills fault. With Mills playing we have only conceded 3 goals in a league game once, without we have conceded 3 goals in 5 games of the 13 games he has missed in the league! Not saying he's the best but he could still be an option
buzzy Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 We want players who want to play for the club and Mills clearly doesn't want to. you mean pearson does not want mills to play if you had the sense you would see that before yesterday 15 goals in 5 games is not good enough but pearson refuses to change the back four [what a plonker he is]. pearson really needs to take a look at himself and stop all of this pig headeness
