One request please sing 'oh leicester' instead of Ben Marshall. The chants too good for one player, it should be a Leicester song. Well played Jobber on the drum

davieG Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Marshall was saying how good he felt and how it made him feel 'he'd settled in and been accepted' also Youngy was saying how much confidence it gives to a player to hear their name being sung. More songs for more players is the way.

'We love you' has been really popular but now it has another song to contend with. Get the Melbourne one going and there's another. The more we have the more varied we'll get in our chanting. And of course we should still make an effort with the classics which should never be ignored.

It definitely can inspire them and in turn they generally work harder to inspire us. But the more catchy the chant the better. There are just some chants that sound louder and get more people involved.
