Captain... Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 And a massive cock? It wasn't massive, you know the rules, as long as it is not bigger than your own it's ok.
Vlad the Fox Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 You are right, I think in Thailand they have a different idea of what a long time is, when I was in Thailand I met this girl, she said that she loved me long time, but she didn't, she only loved me until my money ran out, which was a shame, she was a lovely lass, big hands, great at ping pong.
MPH Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 So its official and clear... All the money spent the last couple of years has been in loans to the club. We are now quite heavily in debt to King Power. Kind of takes the shine out of their 'generosity'

You can say what you like about the Thais - but afterwards you know you're well and truly fúcked.

Kind of takes the shine out of their 'generosity' Do they “own” the club or not? If they do, how can anyone loan money to a business that they own on the understanding that if it fails, that money is repayable? I'm baffled !

Kind of takes the shine out of their 'generosity' You tit. They bought the club and have invested money each year as welll as sponsored the shirt and the stadium with their own money, they have then topped it up with loans, from themselves/AFI. They are rich but they are not idiots, they were not going to just pump as much money in as Sven wanted without some way of getting it back when we get promoted.
Saxondale Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 He was on East Mids Today yesterday evening saying pretty much the same (ie. nothing).
Capt Mainwaring Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Don't believe everything you read in the newspapers. Of course Top's going to say all the right things, he needs to sell 12000 season tickets at 15% increase and no student discount, unless you want pay the same as last season and sit in the family stand next to some youngster who's more interested in Filbert Fox than the Football. So, if Top says "Sorry Guys, my Dad and I are thoroughly fed up, the team let us down in the last 6 games, we should not have sacked Sven, our investment is down the pan", then who's going to renew. Tell the people what they want to hear. None of us know what they are really thinking !.
Captain... Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 You can't win can you, you say what everyone wants to hear, and you get accused of just saying what everyone wants to hear, what do you actually want to hear? I think some people won't be happy until the Thais come out as Derby and Forest fans and say it was all a diabolical plot to ruin the club, call in the 1 trillion in debts that we owe and drive us out of business and out of the East Midlands the club formerly known as Leicester City will then be re-branded Rams-Forest and will be an unofficial feeder club to the 2 powerhouses of the East Midlands (although still manage to finish above both of them in the league).
unreachable Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Do they “own” the club or not? If they do, how can anyone loan money to a business that they own on the understanding that if it fails, that money is repayable? I'm baffled ! According to LCFC Official Site only Aiyawatt (Top) is "the owner". I'm baffled as well!http://www.lcfc.com/page/companydetails/0,,10274,00.html "Company Details Posted on: Wed 04 Apr 2012 Leicester City Football Club Limited's immediate parent undertaking is Asia Football Investments Pte Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore. The beneficial owner of Asia Football Investments is K Power Sports Limited, a British Virgin Isles company. The beneficial owner of K Power Sports Limited is Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn."
Greg2607 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Whilst saying more than once that his family are here long term there is a failure in this interview to define long term or indeed any time scales at all. Whilst on the surface the reassurance of long term commitment seems greatly positive I would have preferred a push from the journalist for a more specific definition. I'm expecting us to be even more in debt to Top and his father once the summer business is concluded, so we really need that defined assurance. are you serious?? "dear top, how long are you planning on sticking around for"....................."exactly 5 years"..................que a whole multitude of "we are fuc*ed in 5 years time" posts and attitudes.
Capt Mainwaring Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Thanks Shrap, Quite happy here thanks, I am sure that the Thai gang will be around next season. .
Guest MattP Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Wow, he actually answered it all impeccably. Knowing the Mercury (and I used to work there) it wouldn't surprise me if Top had never heard of it and the whole lot was made up....
