Reynard Bleu Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I have just finshed Breakfast, two beautifully fresh eggs, soft boiled with toasted soldiers. I never cease to be amazed at this wonderful food, perfectly packaged and extremely versatile. How do we like our eggs cooked and what do we like to accompany them?
Finnegan Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Fried in a cob with bacon and a splash of Tommy K. Unbeatable.
Len Finsbury Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Scrambled. No milk, no butter just a bit of coconut oil in a frying pan. I eat eggs every day.
OzFox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Love 'em. I eat three or four boiled eggs a day. Unfortunate side effects though.
cambridgefox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Fried in a cob with bacon and a splash of Tommy K. Unbeatable. This except being from the south I have mine in a roll. Not a swan!
Leicester_Numan Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Poached to perfection so they're properly cooked but the yolks are still runny. Then I have them on toast with a pinch of salt on top. Dammit, i'm hungry now and i'm out of eggs
Guest Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 how many of you have found a decently formed embryo in an egg they were about to eat? I have several times. btw that wasn't mine and it's a duck. Duck eggs are much more tasty than chicken eggs.

21st Century Fox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Put an egg in a sock or pair of tights, swing it around for a while, boil it. You get a boiled egg that's been scrambled in it's shell. Pointless but looks good.
Nick Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 +1 to Ron for HP I also am partial to fresh smoked salmon, coarse ground black pepper and spring onion on scrambled eggs on toast too.
Daggers Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Fried in a cob with bacon and a splash of Tommy G's sauce. Unbeatable.

Bluefoxtim Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I had a triple-yolker once! Can't beat a Triple Fried Egg Chili Chutney Sandwich
BoneDog Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 That reminds me, I purchased two floaty rubbery 'Poach Pods' recently from Sainsbury's. Must try them out soon. Tried these 'Posh Birds' eggs the other day. Nice, with a really orange yolk.
Zingari Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Why do egg sandwiches stink so much on buses and trains etc?
BoneDog Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Looking at that picture on the box has left me wondering. Do Hens have hairy (or feathered) vaginas, or does the egg come out of the anus? It's a fascinating question, that has had scientists and farmers baffled for years.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 A few months ago I was preparing my food for work and fancied boiling an egg for me to peel later on as a snack after my gym workout (protein yo). I was a bit short on time so after I boiled it for a few mins I chucked it out in the snow to cool before I put it in my bag. A few hours later and after a good old peeling I took a bite and by sheer chance I had cooked it so that the yolk was JUST a tiny bit gooey, not runny but certainly not cooked solid either, and best of all the golden goo was only still bloody warm! It was like god himself had come down and prepared this hen-tastic delight, for me, the unsuspecting consumer to enjoy. In other words fvcking amazing. Never again have I been able to re-create this little orb of wonderfulness. I'm full of amazing stories like this.
