Guest Bilo Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 But I like to read interesting debates and conversation, not boring waffle. So stu, big and bouncy or small and pert?
Daggers Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 Do all threads get hijacked with people spouting unfunny bollocks nowadays?
Guest Bilo Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 Big and pert, go fake, you won't look back. Fake's just cheating.
Zingari Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 I'd hazard a guess that all those that are telling the OP to pay up and shut up , got away with paying a pittance to mummy and daddy i did
Daggers Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 We have to have a picture surely if you look like Danny Baker?
Daggers Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 The spitting image of one of my brothers Danny Baker lookalikes everywhere!
Jace Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 So stu, big and bouncy or small and pert? Small n pert. The last bird with massive knockers almost knocked me out with em! She enjoyed me biting them which made me think I was bobbing for melons. Not a pretty sight
Daggers Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 I'd go more Ali G than Danny Baker! Still, now you know what this keyboard warrior looks like you and the others who issue limp threats can come and teach me a lesson in the Swan&Rushes the next time I'm at a game.
Zingari Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Seperated at birth ? Daggers McMurphy (one flew over the cuckoos nest)
Finnegan Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 To be fair to Matt, whilst I disagree with many of his opinions, I've never thought of him as the threatening or aggressive type. I'd not expect him to be the sort to take a pop at you in the pub.

I'll see you there. To be fair to Matt, whilst I disagree with many of his opinions, I've never thought of him as the threatening or aggressive type. I'd not expect him to be the sort to take a pop at you in the pub. Thank you. No I'm not aggressive, I was in my younger days, long gone now.

Guest Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Pay £50 every Friday to my mum. Must be cheaper at the weekend. Saturday only costs me a tenner.
Zingari Posted 6 July 2012 Posted 6 July 2012 For about six months our "flush" was the bucket next to the throne. It never ceases to amaze me how many people in rented accommodation can't fix even of the most simple things in the home ! it's a toilet flush cistern ffs !! How difficult can it have been to fix the feckin thing yourself ?

Zingari Posted 6 July 2012 Posted 6 July 2012 I've fixed many over the years but I had to give up on my lads cistern it was so complex I couldn't fathom out how it worked? The bottom entry dual flush cisterns are a bit more complex and hard to get right . The last time I just changed the complete innards for the standard type . It was only about a tenner to replace . I’ve been a home owner for about 40 years now and have had to tackle pretty much everything myself rather than constantly pay out for tradesmen to keep doing the simplest of things. I think you just have to know your limits ( such as messing with gas boilers etc ) but I’ve replaced roof tiles , guttering , done all the decorating , fitted new window , pretty much everything at low level skill requirements as most of it just requires basic use of tools . But so many times when I rented out a couple of properties I was astounded at what the tenants wanted me to come and fix , such as loose handles on cupboard doors and carpet gripper rods coming loose . Most of them couldn’t ( or wouldn’t) even put a new washer on a flippin leaking tap . I don't want to sound toffee nosed about it , but there seems to be a sort of council house tenant , "I'm not doing it it's their responsibility" mentality about this doing sort of stuff

Same here, fitted windows, doors internal/external, custom designed wardrobes, complete kitchens, full bathroom suites including shower, rewired house and added numerous sockets, put up fences, laid slabs/lawns, made a chest of drawers, trunk for my sons LPs, coffee tables etc. I think with most minor jobs apart from lack of inclination many don't even know how to hold a screwdriver or what the difference is between a posidrive, phillips or slotted head screw is.
