This is a point which I raised on the previous page and couldnt get a satisfactory answer. The best answer was that the person cant do much about that as they are a teenager (no offence mate, just thought your argument on that occasion was weak)...though they think they can do something about the world eating meat. Oh well.

The point still stands though. Do vegetarians and vegans know 100% whether or not their fruit and veg has been grown 100% organically? Pesticides and fertilizers kills all kinds of wildlife living in the feilds and on the crops, as well as the animals and eco systems in the nearby waterways where the excess runs in to. What are we to do about this unlawful, cold murder?

Thius has been answered time an again on the previous 38 pages... and yes, some insects will have died for my food, im not comfortable with it, but it is pretty much unavoiable.

My point from the beginning of this topic is that i choose not to eat meat as i believe deliberatly killing for my pleasure is wrong, i have stated that im not perfect, but simply i am doing what i can.

You should have wiped them out anyway, 2,000 years and they invented a boomerang and a didgeridoo, if we had left them how long do you think it would have taken them to get to the moon?

When I was over there they kept asking me to buy more wine for them, annoying, been worshipping a god called Quantas for the last 50 years.

You are an ignoramus beyond compare.

Sure, im happy to assist with your intellectual development, its obviously in need of assistance..

Step 1...., Perhaps you should read the title of this topic. ANIMAL RIGHTS!! this means that this topic contains discussions about animal rights. (understand so far?)

Step 2, .... Read the VERY FIRST post, which outlines that rather than hijack other topics with discussions about this, i started one about animal rights. (still with me?)

Step 3, .... Read any number of the dozens of posts and take note that most of what you are asking has already been answered. if it hasnt been its probably because your just making a vacuous and irrelevant statement.

Step 4,.... Stop whining about being lectured, if you dont like the discussion, its pretty easy to understand the topic and avoid it.

Congratulations on reading to the end of this post...heres a lollipop

Fences will prevent most problems and yes other predators will manage the rest, its not really the same as your analogy, those predators are killing out of neccessity, your rotty isnt.

But do you think building fences and segregating animals and humans is the correct way to live? I am much more in favour of balance and harmony with the animal kingdom, which is not what we have now.

Live amongst them, rather than destroy their homes, their food supply and their breeding grounds.

And I would be happy to have to confront and hunt my prey, and be aware of the risks, and likewise if I was killed I would be happy to have my flesh torn from me as I lay rotting in the countryside, to give back to nature what I have taken.

Balance and harmony is what we have now??

I acknowledge you would be happy to kill your own animal, i assume you will be happy to do that without the benefit of a gun etc,

I would be perfectly happy if we just stopped killing other living thinking creatures

Oz, fences wouldn't solve those problems...

Some of the biggest threats to those crops would be birds and flying insects. You can't avoid hurting everything.

I said we don't have balance and harmony, I would much rather do away with intensive mass farming and the destruction of species and habitats.

The problems with this world is not that we eat meat but the way in which we are destroying the world to eat it. Imho.

Harmony between animals? Yeah that'll work. Next time you walk up to a pack of tigers just say 'come on fellas, can't we all be friends" and see how far it gets you.

This thread is ridiculous. You can boil it down to: the two oz's have some kind of hard on for animals and a strong anti-human sentiment which probably stems from either repressed homosexuality and/or having been bullied at school. The rest of would like to see animals treated with a bit of respect but for the most part are happy to turn a blind eye because in reality, they're only animals, and the pleasure of eating meat is well worth the almost non-existent guilt.

Pls can we end thread

Yes, i spend a good proportion of my time walking up to "packs" of Tigers, does your stupidity know no bounds?

Anti human, could you be more wrong?

As for your continual homosexual statements, methinks... "the lady doth protest too much".

(excluding euthanasia) You cannot kill and show respect, it is a fundamental flaw in your "logic"

Easily...just fvck off

Spot on.

I really think the two of you really should just get together. :kissing:

I disagree. There are people that do actually care about animal rights without being in either camps.

There seem to be three types of people. On one hand, the extremists who think that everyone should wear clothes made out of grass and that eating animals should be punished by hanging (The OZ's). On the other hand, there's the emotionless psychopaths here who clearly don't give a toss about animals in the slightest because they think humans have a god given right to do whatever the hell they like to animals (eg. people like you). Then there's the people who actually do care about animal rights, but actually have a realistic/less extreme approach to both sides.

Sadly this whole thread has been filled with crazy and unrealistic utopian ideas instead of realistic discussion on how animal rights could actually be improved....

Tigers hunt solo, not in packs.

Oh, and you're a complete fucktard.
