Ashley Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Fairfield Dynamo 4-1 Huggeslcote united. County cup final winners. Nice win for you but your team has been pot hunting I do believe this season? Played in goal the last two games. First game against Maybes team absolutely peppered with shots and the goal they score was a penalty 3-1 win. Yesterday won 3-2 couldn't do anything about the either goal especially the second their player smashed one into the top corner on the volley from about 5 yards out great cross for the goal though shame about our marking!

If you class all mates playing football together as pot hunting then your right. Can't be pot hunting that much, 4th in our league, knocked out in one cup by a team in our division, in the quarters of one and won the other. We've got advance couriers in the billy Walton In the quarters, very good chance we'll be knocked out, we won't win the league. So that will leave us with one bit of silverware for the season.
Father Ted Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Started so well... then a combination of players not turning up and bad luck with injuries/late goals cost us in the league and an absolutely disgraceful ref cost us in our County Cup Quarter Final... slowly getting back on track now though but losing players left right and centre as we have 3 lads off on their tours for their gap years now and another lad stormed off. Really going to struggle to get 11 out for our midweek matches. Absolute mess!

Huggeslcote were well organised and the scoreline flatters us a little bit. There front 2 caused 1 off our centre halfs a lot of trouble in the air and there other striker skinned our right back time after time. Move onto the billy Walton next we've got advance couriers. Another tough game but one we are looking forward to.

I can see Hillmoren only completing about 80% of their fixtures or summit stupid. Can't wait till next season

I was talking to Tony last night and he didn't mention anything. His program notes that he's wrote are quite funny, mentions Star & Garter as "advances ressies and them being the noisy neighbours"

Ashley Posted 9 April 2013 Posted 9 April 2013 More or less what Manwell said On a serious note, My Dad got fed up of doing everything and I mean everything. Secretary, washing the kit, driving around half of Leicester just to pick players up on a Sunday morning, players not paying subs, fines just got too much in the end so decided to call it a day. He now manages NRI in the Alliance League.
