The thing with CSFL is that they can't take any form of criticism and when people have offered to help like Shaun with the website they reject it. We've played 5 League games, no Premier Cup games or Everards Cup. We don't know who we have in the Everards Cup and we have to play Stanny in a Preliminary round in the Premier Cup? The winners and the winners semi-finalists in a Preliminary?! Absolute joke. We won't go Alliance as its not in our interest to be travelling that far each Sunday. A major shake up is needed though. Oh and I seen your views regarding the Alliance League/CSFL - thought you were spot on! 5 League games? I'll tell you why mate, because there's only 7 of you in it, as such it has to be called a prelim, as not every side in the competition is in it. Six of you will play, one team will actually get a by straight to the Semi final They are awful if anyone has anything negative to say about them, I apperciate their league was once the dogs but it's in tatters at the minute and I don't see it getting any better.

Manwell Pablo Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Herd about the whole of the Alliance League Prem making a fool out of it's self at the Star and Garter vs Appelby game today, seems like the lot of them combined couldn't stop the better team winning though, well done Appleby Magne, hopefully they can finish the job and beat Advanced in the final.

What happened mate? From the sounds of it, it was a great game. We lost 3-1 to Couriers AET, was a real good game and we should of took our chance in the 90 minutes but wasn't to be. First time in a while though we haven't had reason to complain after a big game, except one issue the pitch, even though it was our pitch. How this game of this level was played on a park pitch after the weather we have had recently really didn't do this game justice, Leicestershire FA really need to up their game. We get on with a few of the Couriers lads so the game was in good spirits and the Ref had no major decisions to make, so good luck to Couriers in the Final though, hope they go onto beat Magna.

Ha he did play well but Cabbage should probably of got it or even maybe Stacey, he must of had an headache after all of his defending yesterday.

From what the Appelby boys have said ( I wasn't there obviously playing myself ) There was a rather large attendance consisting of mainly other Alliance Prem teams that Appelby had already knocked out. The Star And Garter were more concerned with winning by any means nessc and didn't conduct themselves very well, apparently the spectators were being nobs and Appelbys manager was subject to quite an violent incident involving one of them! Must of been quite bad for the Appelby lot to moan, I think that's the first time I've seen the moan about another teams conduct for about 4 years. I haven't spoke to any of em in person yet but after I have I'll no doubt have some more stories We drew 3-3 with Hillmoren after being 3-0 down after another trademark shit first 20 minutes from us. Totally dominated the second half should really have won it but never mind it's not like we are going to achieve anything this year so happy to get a point from such bad position.

In all honesty I thought Couriers were a good advertisement for the Alliance League vs us yesterday, both teams, managers and fans just wanted to win, with the prize being a trip to Holmes Park. Really hope they go on and win it.

In all honesty I thought Couriers were a good advertisement for the Alliance League vs us yesterday, both teams, managers and fans just wanted to win, with the prize being a trip to Holmes Park. Really hope they go on and win it. We've never had any problems with any teams from the Alliance (and we've played shit loads) Especially when compared with some teams from LSL. Which is why I was suprised to hear it in all honesty.

Still don't know who we have got on Sunday yet, guessing it will be Birstall Stamford at home in the League Premier Cup preliminary round. The League has gone, Compass have pretty much wrapped that up now but we've still got the Premier Cup and hopefully regain the Everards Cup, also know as the Wymeswold Cup.

But that's just me I hate losing when playing football whether I'm playing Saturday, Sunday or Thursday night down goals.

Considering they won the Alliance Premier last year and had some very good results a 3-2 loss isn't bad our side played very well yesterday.
