Danno Posted 22 September 2012 Posted 22 September 2012 To be fair we haven't been that bad, didn't expect to win any of our away games, did pretty well v Blackpool which I expected us to draw. When Whitbread's back we should be more solid defensively from what I've heard, and with Nugent and Vardy getting on the score sheet on Wednesday that should give them a lot of confidence. We have made some good signings, and Drinkwater has improved a lot since last seasons performances as well, and I'm liking the look of Knockaert. Our future is good

It was noted that Pearson did'nt bother with Stringer after the game, I got the impression it was a V's up from Nigel to Radio Leicester and some fans for daring to suggest he was under pressure.

To be honest all football fans seem to be now, Blackburn booed their team off last night whilst sat top of the league, West Ham did the same. The patience and intelligence level of the football fan is at an all time low, it's pathetic.

No, it was stated somewhere before we even played on Wednesday that NP sometimes let's Shakey do the talking and take the credit after a win

I'm pleased to see we have a fit squad tomorrow. They have scored 10 in the last 3 games! But I fancy us to beat them. I like the way Pearson has put this squad together. He must be massively frustrated with having players on big bucks who he doesn't seem to rate, but he has to manage this I guess. Onwards and upwards. Win tomorrow and we can go into the Borough game more confident. Lose and it may suggest that more work needs doing. But I remain optimistic that we will finish 7th this season. I'd like higher but can't see it this year.

Deucalion Posted 22 September 2012 Posted 22 September 2012 Last player I booed was Ian Ormondryoid, but then I started to feel sorry for him and I haven't booed a player or a team since. In my defence, I was around 19-20 at the time. The defence does concern me at the minute though, not what I was expecting from Nigel Pearson. Too often we are relying on top class saves from Schmeichel.

I'd like higher but can't see it this year. Totally agree Col never booed and never will,I think anyone that does is soft in the head personally, as it achieves absolutely nothing! I understand frustration and let's face it mate being a City fan has had plenty of that over the years but being a supporter means just that supporting
