Throwing money about that we'll have to pay back at an even bigger rate eventually, and being naive in itself surely? lol

And there is the real issue, but hay ho let's enjoy the ride and see how it pans out

Nb your comment about kidnapping was just wrong

It was a pretty distasteful comparison I must admit but it's the same principle.

Didn't Stringer's agent say on the boot room last night than he knows Redknapp's agent and he told him Redknapp and our owners had a meeting a couple of weeks ago?

Maybe I misheard or dreamt it - suprised it isn't being mentioned on here

!!!! He has a agent !!!

That's like saying "except for kidnapping April Jones, what has the kidnapper done wrong?"

I think these owners are nowhere near as good as I once hoped they were going to be.

i' guessing hoping? you don't have children. Poor choice of comparison there mate.

Anyone else find it utterly depressing that at the end if such a good week for LCFC on the pitch including 2 world class goals that, this is what everyone's getting worked up about?

I'm sure plenty of 'fans' will find their booing voices once we lose a couple of games!

Yep and the fact that the grammar police are back

Yep the LCFC website and Leicester Mercury says it all.

Very good news indeed, but I really don't know what people were getting in a fuss about, who said he was on the brink of getting sacked apart from the Daily Mail.

If it was a massive possibility, then the likes of the Sun, Telegraph, Mirror would of said the same thing but they didn't.

You knew it was a load of bollocks, when Shearer and Dowie got mentioned, the writer of the article was basically trying to scare us.

In the last couple of days we have had Harry himself and then the owners claim there is nothing to the rumours and, at this stage, I am prepared to believe that. The evidence for the rumours of meetings with Harry being true seems to be 'sources at the club' without any specifics such as dates, times, places and who was in attendance. No-one will divulge anything other than 'I know for a fact' or similar and yet some people still prefer to believe them over statements made by the allegedly involved parties.

On a separate note, if you DO know someone employed at the club who is prepared to leak confidential information in an attempt to look important tell them they're cvnts and that they deserve to lose their jobs if they ever get found out.

Well put

Fair enough. To me this statement doesn't mean that if we suddenly fall towards the bottom of the league having completely lost the plot on the pitch, he would still be safe. It just means that right now, and as long as things keep going well, he will be fine. That's all I wanted to know.

Oh yeah it's fine as far as statements go, probably the reason they took so long about it they probably wanted to structure it properly to make sure it wasn't viewed as a VOC I'd imagine.

To be honest I was replying to someone who had posted before the statement was released and before I'd read the statement so it literally was just a bit of disbeliefe that on a football forum so many people seemed to think a manager being backed publicaly makes a jot of difference at the risk of being accused of having a superiority complex by another idiot who isn't even worth replying to.

Think its about time the thai owners put out a statement about speculation over pearson getting the sack, & shut up all the bullshit from the papers. IN NIGEL WE TRUST

Why?

Why make it an issue when it's not?

Happy with this, they may have spoken to him but clearly the last couple of weeks ave shown Nigel is developing a skilful team who look as if they want to play together and don't have any ego's holding them back.

Right lts move on, back th team and manager tomorrow and beat Bristol and go top.

Aye, apologies for it, will delete it.
