dynamark Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 Schlupp is quick moving, doesnt go down easy under a tackle and very quick thinking, right on Knockys wavelenght.I hope he gets a chance last 20 or so soon
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 Will it? Because it had little effect last season with him scoring 2 in 21 appearances. All of a sudden it's apperances now!!! I thought it was goals per minutes played being used in the offical benchmark?? I tell you what Babs, why don't you go back to the Waghorn thread and inform me how many apperances and goals he's had this season! I thought you were better than double standards, very dissapointing!
Father Ted Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 I rate Schlupp well ahead of Waghorn at the moment. Has the same power as Waghorn but is faster, better finisher and hasn't got the touch of a donkey. Would like to see him given a decent run out. ealingfox Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 Waghorn and Schlupp sounds more like Fraggle Rock FC's strikeforce.
dmayne7 Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 Such a waste if he does go at left back though. Has all the attributes to be a top striker apart from maybe that positional awareness but he is only going to get that by playing games
Alf Bentley Posted 24 October 2012 Share Posted 24 October 2012 Strange post! vardy did very well in both games. His tireless running was vital tonight when he came on. As well as working very hard, Vardy keeps possession well and is good at spotting a pass - useful in a sub coming on in a tight game like last night. I just wish Vardy believed more in his ability to score, so that he took on shots when they become available. Assuming he's not now being solely earmarked as a left-back, I reckon Schlupp is better suited to coming on in a very open, end-to-end game, with his pace, strength and aggressive attacking style (less good at keeping possession/passing, though)
MattSTFC Posted 25 October 2012 Share Posted 25 October 2012 Graham Turner is rumoured to be interested in taking Schlupp on loan this week.
Tielemans63 Posted 25 October 2012 Share Posted 25 October 2012 Graham Turner is rumoured to be interested in taking Schlupp on loan this week. If we were to get someone in on loan then it wouldn't surprise me if Big Jeff did go out for another loan spell.
sdb Posted 25 October 2012 Share Posted 25 October 2012 He's in the squad most weeks. NP wouldn't do that if he didn't rate him. He'll play more and more as the season wears on. Whether it's LB, LM or up top.
