Rincewind Posted 7 January 2013 Posted 7 January 2013 Thatcher Thatcher Thatcher Thatcher Thatcher I don't care whether she's been picked or I'm not allowed her five times, I'm just looking forward to the almighty party when the witch finally succumbs to a painful and drawn-out death. I don't think wishing her dead five times will be enough. She has made a pact with the devil for eternal life. We are stuck with her.
The People's Hero Posted 7 January 2013 Posted 7 January 2013 I don't think wishing her dead five times will be enough. She has made a pact with the devil for eternal life. We are stuck with her. Watched the IRON LADY film last night. Quite enjoyed it as I could pretend to be educated and a man of refined tastes. In truth, I thought it lacked car chases, explosions etc.

Webbo Posted 18 February 2013 Posted 18 February 2013 Derek Batey. The renound broadcaster was probably best known for his role as the host of TV game show Mr and Mrs between 1964 and 1980. The show is now hosted by Philip Schofield and Fearne Britton. He also hosted chat show Look Who's Talking between 1973 and 1975. It's understood that Mr Batey, aged 84, died in Blackpool's Trinity Hospice last night. Reports suggest he had recently become ill on holiday in the USA. "Derek was a people person, who was never happier than when he was talking to either a prince or a pauper," ex-ITV producer and director Harry King told local newspaper News & Star. "He would do interviews with prime ministers and he could also talk comfortably to the lady next door. It was a great skill which he had."
