City_4_Life Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 Was impressive when winning last time, the race tomorrow is obviously much tougher, but who is to say he wont improve. Also Geraghty would have had a choice of the Henderson horses, he has either picked or has been told to ride Royal Boy, but people do get it wrong.
Jon the Hat Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 My initial thoughts are good name for a horse.
Lamby Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 I wanna buy a horse, call it Tittywank and enter it in races
leicesterisme Posted 4 January 2013 Posted 4 January 2013 I wanna buy a horse, call it Tittywank and enter it in races Think you should train it aswell, basically the next Frankel!
Guest MattP Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Very tough race to call, anything Nicky Henderson has this season can't be ruled out though. Barry takes the ride on Royal Boy so the stable clearly sees him as the main chance.
Jon the Hat Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I wanna buy a horse, call it Tittywank and enter it in races No chance, names have to be approved, and that is not getting through in a million years. You have to be clever to come up with a funny one.
Bayfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I wanna buy a horse, call it Tittywank and enter it in races Tittywank on the rails????
Zingari Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I wanna buy a horse, call it Tittywank and enter it in races You'd have to be a fast runner and very tall !
Bert Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I like the look of melodic rendezvous in this race. Should certainly come close.
The People's Hero Posted 5 January 2013 Author Posted 5 January 2013 Viking Blond for me in the welsh national.
Guest MattP Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Small bet on Giles Cross for me in the Welsh one. Decent bet on Williams Wishes in the 1.50, did it really nicely last time out and still looks to be off a nice mark here. Only 5/4 but should be fairly comfortable.
Bert Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Teaforthree is the obvious choice in the welsh. Fancy our island for some EW value.
Guest MattP Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Brilliant piece of jockeymanship there to stay on, Williams Wishes looks a real class act, if he could get his jumping together he could win some high class races.
BoneDog Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 No chance, names have to be approved, and that is not getting through in a million years. You have to be clever to come up with a funny one. He could possibly get away with Witty Tank.
Bert Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Knew Melodic Rendezvous would do well. Won by a nice few lengths too.
Zingari Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 He could possibly get away with Witty Tank. There definitely was a horse called Betty Swollocks
The People's Hero Posted 8 January 2013 Author Posted 8 January 2013 Anyone have a horse they look out for? I look out for Cape Tribulation, Sir Dylan, Osteopathic Remedy and a few others, but mainly those two.
chrishlcfc Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Some good racing at the dubai carnival today. that south african horse that just won looked classy.
BoneDog Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Anyone have a horse they look out for? I used to look out for Abbajabba but not seen him for years. The first time I took my Mrs into a bookies she went for Runnerbean e/w @33/1 and it came first so she looks out for him, but not noticed him anywhere since. Probably retired by now.

ScouseFox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Used to love a bit of The Lemonpie because he won me my first ever full house lucky 15 in the summer. Got injured and retired around November though. No real favourites bar the obvious big names these days.

Didn't see any last night mainly due to the time differance, but looking forward to world cup night which is the best race meet any where in the world.
