Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 January 2013 Share Posted 8 January 2013 For Rocky Ron. Hugely influential on the grunge sound - which was how I got into him. More sedate... http://youtu.be/uG1HY2zLc1s Less sedate... Epic (in the proper use of the word)... http://youtu.be/6GDIkb5CDUY And more recent.... 37 Studio albums, 3 more with Crosby, Nash, Stills and Young and 3 more as guitarist for Buffalo Springfield. Plenty to go at, but I'd miss most of the 80s stuff - the 80s killed rock music.

21st Century Fox Posted 8 January 2013 Share Posted 8 January 2013 ****ing love Neil Young, I have near enough all his albums. A lot of his 80's stuff was deliberately bad to **** over Geffen records. I do quite like Transformer Man though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pz-Km3sQxw

I thought Psychedelic Pill & Le Noise were great, certainly better than most other albums released in those years.

Don't know if you've read the biography by Jimmy McDonough its a bit of a tome and only goes up to the late Nineties but I enjoyed most of it.
