Ozwin Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Where you heading/planning on going this year FT'ers? After last years shambles (not arranging anything at all) I have low hopes of anything happening this year either. So hard to get 5 or 6 people all up for one idea. Mighty tempted to bugger off somewhere on my own for a week in the summer but that's a bit weird innint? I just want to chill on a beach with a book for a bit, is that so much to ask? You'd think I was 60 odd not 22! So yeah, what's 2013 got in store for y'all?
Tom17LCFC Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 May be heading away in August for a week with the fam. It all depends on who LCFC have on the opening day and whether we're in the prem or not. Got plans for Amsterdam with my mate in June, and then hopefully heading away with my uni mates to Magaluf or something for a week in July!

I've pissed off to Spain on my own a few times for a few days over the years, nothing wrong with it at all. Very relaxing and you can go out on the pull not giving a shit. Spent a fortune already on my hols for this year, I'm off to Melbourne, Auckland and Dubai in March, taking in some cricket and racing and will probably do the GP in Australia while I'm there, got a stag do booked in Banus in June as well. Hoping to get out to Vegas/California to take in a fight in November, doesnt look like any British fighter is going to be there anytime soon mind....
FoxesAreBlue Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Out with my mates and their significant others last night, we were secretly plotting a return to Zante this year whilst apparantly at the same time the ladies were planning a similar trip to mahal if in the next room! Can't trust them bloody ladies!!
Bayfox Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Not sure. Any recomendations for a family of 4. Fancy trying portugal but other than having heard of the algarve i know nothing about the place.
Ross-Kemp Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Off to Cyprus for 10 nights in October for a wedding and then a flight to benidorm for the weekend for my uncles 40th. Still trying to convince Mrs Kemp we need to be in australlia over Christmas

MooseBreath Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Was gonna go to Egypt on April but received a half hearted invitation to a wedding in India in July which I initially dismissed, but the more I think about it the more it sounds great. Been a few years since I was there so it will be good to go back. Thinking of making it a three-weeker, and that'll be about it for holidays until Christmas when I'm thinking Vietnam for two weeks.
Bayfox Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 have you been to Turkey? Have a look at Hisarano Turkey comes up in all the searches when i look at all-inclusive. But i know nothing about the place. What's the weather like, whens the best time of year to go. And what's the food like etc. My kids aren't at school yet so trying to go term time if poss. So may or sept are possibilties.
Webbo Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Having saved a bit of money last year going on a late availability I'll wait until June to decide. It'll probably Greece or Turkey.
Jackirius Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Heading to Ibiza hopefully when I get back from travelling in August or so. Just for a week.
Parafox Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 2 nights in Barcelona in March as a surprise trip for wife's landmark birthday. New York in spring. No plans for summer yet
Rincewind Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Despite what people may think my income is not sufficient to extend to holidays. May have a day out in Nuneaton at some point to use an Asda gift cash card.

Rincewind Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 No. I've had plenty of holidays in my time and I do slob about all day living off tax payers money.
Parafox Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 No. I've had plenty of holidays in my time and I do slob about all day living off tax payers money. That's ok then. I know you're not idle with your time, really
Rincewind Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 I treat every day as a holiday because it could be my last.
Libertine Dream Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Somewhere hot at intervals in the year, not decided where yet though

Rincewind Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Looks smashing. Would love to get away but my passport is out of date and cannot afford to renew it at the moment. Maybe I'll be able to save a little later on in the year and go with Saga.
