Hull and Woad really choked this afternoon 3 up with 5 to play but only got a half.

 

And whoever arranged the LIV style post match DJ set needs shooting. They started it behind the main grandstand before the games had finished and the women couldn't concentrate on holing their putts because 'I am Titanium!!' was being lasted out at 500 db

Ridiculously tight leaderboard at Wentworth with 17 players now within a shot of the lead. Impossible to pick a winner.

 

Huge crowds, glorious sunshine, wonderful course.

Sad to Manuel Elvira fvck up the 18th but that's pressure on the biggest stage and his inexperience showed.

Managed to watch this whilst I was at the cricket. Absolutely crazy second shot to bring the bunker into play in any way whatsoever. Can only assume he’s ignored any advice from his caddie on yardage. Either that or he needs a new caddie.

Proud to report that my club has won England Men's Champion Club coming back from 4 down at the half way stage to win on countback. They areoff to France next month to compete in the European Champion Club. Leicestershire punching above their weight again and defending their Champion County title at Hollinwell this weekend.

The President’s cup desperately needs an international team win to keep it relevant and people interested.

Sad to see the final fourball of day 1 tee off the first and the grandstand less than a quarter full.

And hardly any away support for the Internationals means there’s very little intensity.

I’ll probably still watch it all though.

I’ve just put it in and thought the same about the crowds. Hard to know how to spark it in to life, just something missing which is odd when you consider how great the Ryder, Solheim & Walker cups are.

I think it'll only spark into life if the Internationals win a few and make it competetive because it's just a procession for the US every time atm.

 

The other thing is the Internationals don't have a flag, identity, or history to rally around like Europe do. They're just a mish mash of randoms who rock up and get their arse kicked every two years.

10 mins later and they've lost the lead in two of them!

 

I think the Internationals need at least a three possibly four point lead going iinto Sundays singles if they stand any chance. That means they really need to win both sessions tomorrow and hold onto these leads today which is a huge ask.

 

Just can't see anything but another comprehensive US win unfortunately.

 

P.S. Keegan Bradley is such a bell end trying to hype the crowd up. He's a failed captain and now just a glorified cheerleader.

That’s an incredible session from the international pairings. Although if I was a betting man I’d suggest now wouldn’t be a bad time to invest in team USA.
