Absolutely buzzing for Justin, the English drought in majors is finally over! In the end I got a good return from Ernie Els and was hoping Jason Day could get over the line as i'd had £10 on him in play at 40/1 to win, should have gone each way!!! :)

Can't wait for The Open now, going at least 2 of the 4 days up at Muirfield.

Loads of e/w doubles and a few singles

FRL: Graham Storm and Matthew Nixon in the BMW and JJ Henry and Andres Romero at the Travellers

Bjorn and Kaymer both got me a place, as did Nixon FRL.

Pissed off with Zach Johnson, missed out on the doubles because of his shocking hack! Wish I'd had JJ Henry over 4 rounds and not just for first round leader.

Overall though I'm £150+ up for the week. I'll keep most of that back for Muirfield.

Ulhliein saved his worst round for the last round and went backwards. Webb Simpson and Johnny Huh had shocking and i mean shocking 3rd rounds when both were in contention.

Irish: Gagli, Parry, Cabrera-Bello

At&T: Chappell, Leishman, Norlander

Just had £1 e/w doubles on these. Not really fancying anything this week so keeping my powder dry until The Open I reckon

I tipped Irish: Illonen, Lowry, Harrington

AT&T: Every, Speith, Horscell.

So far so good except for Every who was 500/1 on betfair, i think i got sucked in to the odds rather than thinking he would do anything.

He's having a shocking year but he's never a 500/1 shot, i'd have gone in for that if i'd seen it.

Shame you're not on Ulhein this week, he looks like another win is round the corner. I quietly fancy him for The Open you know.

Probably first time i've not backed Ulhlein for a couple months, just didn't like the way he played his last round last week.

That was unusual of him to have such a hack when in contention. I wonder if his recent win as taken the focus and itensity off a bit? It can do that to some golfers, usually winning for the first time makes them more confident and can kick on but with some it actually makes them take the foot off the gas. He's bang in it again though.

Not a great week for me at all. Cabrera-Bello got a T5 but with about 5 other players so hardly worth mentioning. Looking at my bets this year, i'm far more profitable on the European Tour than the PGA. My big wins on the PGA have been at The Masters and a decent return at the US Open. I'm considering changing my staking plan as i'm wasting money in America that could be spent doubling my bets in Europe.

The next few weeks are going to be all about golf for me.

I'm playing Woodhall Spa for my 30th with my brother and a few mates next friday. We'd tried to get in at Woburn as it's been a long tradition of playing 36 holes there on one of our birthdays but the Marquess course is unavailable that week so we've gone for Woodhall. I played there in a junior county event about 12 years ago but not played it since so i'm buzzing for that. I need to get down the practice area and work on bunker play as I feel i'll be seeing quite a few of them there. Haha

Then i'm off to Edinburgh on Tuesday 16th July for a couple days and then on to North Berwick/Muirfield for The Open, attending the friday and the saturday. I've got 18 holes booked at Gullane as well which is meant to be a sensational course. Cannot wait.

My bets this weeks are just some e/w doubles across both tours.

French: Larrazabal, Storm, Bourdy, Kaymer

PGA: Webb Simpson, Woodland, Norlander, Henley
