Im glad people have brought this up. People who watched the whole game obviously dont care about other city fans who had problems. Someone said to me in a thread .. oh that happens and should of got there earlier. I paid my money and i expect to get to watch the whole game. Why should i missed the first half hour because their was no space ? People who didnt have any problems, well done but stop acting like people who did shouldnt complain.

I understand where you are coming from but the people who were ringing up tonight weren't on about the fact that people couldn't get in. They were mostly saying how it was overcrowded, how it needs to be knocked down and how people could have been killed just like at Hillsborough and Heysel.

It was more to do with incompetent stewards who didn't advise people where to go or try and spread people though different entrances. Me and my 3 friends got in the ground around 2.45ish we tried going in straight down the middle but we could see it was packed so we went to the far left near where the kiosk was and we got a space fine. If stewards had told people to do the same it might not have been such a shambles.

How would you feel ted if you couldnt had got in and missed the first half hour ?

Missed the first 15 minutes or so in 2009 due to wandering into the police escort by mistake. I didn't witter on about it for two days afterwards or demand the whole stand be closed. Maybe black armbands at the Huddersfield game will soothe your agony?

Didn't he also say his friend text him to say they couldn't get there hands in or out of there pockets.

He did indeed. You know a real catastrophe is brewing when someone has the time to take their phone out and send a text.

I hope the stand gets knocked down. A ****ing shithole. I got there at kick off and couldnt get in the stand. Should i just accept this and not rise the issue ? They should do something about it, their wise idea was for everyone to push forward. Yes that would had been safe. I hope they go ****ing go broke and end up playing hinckley utd.

I did originally sympathise, but you are starting to sound a bit like my nanna if she misses the early bird's OAP special by a minute and has to pay full price.

Did you not realise it was going to be full? Maybe arrive a little earlier and go where there will be space?

Honestly I don't know what the stewards were telling you guys but a little common sense would suggest it will be busier in the middle so maybe you should try the sides? Am I missing something here?

Away day at Hinckley sounds fun though. Hope they've got more than one toilet!

Tried every entry !!! What about that youre club are just after a few more quid and over sold tickets. Every entry was packed and on the far left. Lads where climbing onto the sides too watch the game. I spoke to youre stewards in the away end. They even said it was oversold and there was too many of us.

Just seemed like the old days to me.

Guy I work with is a steward for Peterborough, told him when I got in this afternoon he was an incompetent cvnt and his fans were shit etc etc.He was at the left hand stand to us and thought there was bunching in the middle, but the sides looked fine.sold the same as Norwich but they spread out more!Told him to fook off when he said they should have had a penalty and ours should have been disallowed, because he should have been watching for danger and not the fooking match.

Oh really.

Not true. Your.

Funny because people on here have said they stood at the sides and it was fine. Were.

Do the stewards have access to the ticketing figures then? I think I believe the club's official statement rather than anecdotal evidence. Your.

I arrived just after kickoff as it took ages to get through the turnstiles. We couldn't get into the terrace through the first entrance we were sent up so went along to the next and managed to get in with a bit of a push and shove. It was crowded but no worse than being at the front of a decent gig, you moved around a bit with the crowd but there was plenty of room really. I was in the middle behind the goal and I'm only a short arse. We had room to move around to get a better view too. Standing in a river of piss at half time was a new low for me though.

I'm so glad I don't listen to radio Leicester apart from matches. Even getting through that is difficult.

Even if that is the case (and it's been heavily disputed) isn't that the fault of Peterborough United, not the stand?

Listen to Durham everyday and you'll realise he does a good job and knows his stuff. He makes my daily commute home everyday just about barable.

He's a posh fan, he'll come out with something every week on who they play, for a laugh except his point this week isnt miles away in my opinion.

From my view in the seats (as I took my youth team of 11/12 year olds) there was space, people just don't have a clue how to act or how terraces work these days. Plenty of clubs takes those numbers and get on fine, the overreation in this thread is pretty pathetic.

That wasn't the case, there was no communication between stewards to alert those fans in the middle that there was space towards the sides.

If there had been a message (one better than telling people over a tannoy to move where there was no immediate room to) then this could've been avoided or decreased.

I was almost tempted to phone the moan in, what an embarrassment.

People who are saying this could have been another Hillsborough need to have a serious word with themselves.

We must have alot of fans who either have never been on a terrace or who have short memories. When a

terrace is either full or close to being full you get squashed. That is why old ladies and young children should

not go in there. My dad is 67 and did not want get squashed so we went in the seats ( they were available).

One guy even phoned in to say he was worried about the blind man stood next to him, you couldn't make it up.

It was beyond a joke, every week I sit here in relief thinking thank fvck we don't share our phone-in like the Sheffield clubs for example, it's pathetic - when did everyone turn so soft? Fvcking hell.

It was abysmal organising and Peterborough's shocking treatment as regards to not letting fans in shouldn't be swept under the carpet, but some of the stuff on there was a complete joke.

That isn't the point though. Anyone who's been refused entry, that IS a disgrace and I fully sympathise with anyone who had to go through that. But comparing it to Hillsborough? Really? Embarrassing.

Haha calm down.

Yes I believe them. Why wouldn't I?

Because you weren't on the terrace. Simple as that.

Peterborough aren't going to come out and say they oversold because it could lead to possible sanctions.

I've been on the terrace at London Road 4 times, and Saturday was by far the worst it's been. For there to be a tannoy announcement asking fans to move forward and the majority reaction being "we can't" just proves it all the more.

No I wasn't but by the same token, they have more information regarding tickets than people on the terrace who went and stood in the centre....where it was crowded. There are others, like the poster above, who stood at the sides and found it fine. Suggests to me that there was enough room if people moved sideways?

Saturday was not oversold just badly organised.

I was behind the goal, and there was loads of room towards the back. People are, once again, hysterically over reacting to a very minor incident.

spot on.Peterborough are a small club pushing above their weight. This is not meant in a bad or sour grapes sort of way,it's fact.Really do not think the stewards had had the experience or training to deal with a capacity away end, like there was last weekend.
