Coral are offering Sprinter Sacre at evens tomorrow morning from 9. It will be a very short offer so get on quick!

Their Twitter says they'll keep it open for days not hours regardless of how many people take it up. If that's true it's complete madness. £20 max tho.

It's just a free bet basically, get's the sign ups and gets people in. No different to any other offers the big firms give.

Dodging Bullets in the opener on Tuesday at 10/1 will sort everyone out for the week.

Arabella Boy in the cross country, I think?

Those two are my hot picks.

I randomly got a Weatherby's betting guide through the post from Paddy Power today!

I am so excited about Cheltenham I can't quite believe it's less than a week away. It feel's like the week before Christmas when you're a pup.

I am off to Gold Cup day and I just cannot wait.

If anyone got on the New One for the Neptune Novices early enough - good on ya

Anyone else going Gold Cup day and heading into Cheltenham town after?

Yes, Gold Cup day. A few of us are heading to Cheltenham and then ending up in Bristol on Friday night.

First year I'm missing it this year since I was 18 as I'm on a flight to Australia. :(

You have done exactly the right thing, The only people who go to Chelt town centre Friday night are the festival novices, it's packed everywhere, you can't get a drink and can hardly move in most bars. Get to Bristol or one of the villages.

Main tip for everyone going by train as well, the Betfair arms across the road, avoid it. Too busy, come out the station and walk 150 yards right, you'll come across the best pub in the City and they are open from about 8. Half as busy, full of Cheltenham regulars, great beer, pool, darts. Everything that you won't get in the Betfair Arms.

Where abouts do you go?

Montpellier was absolutely heaving the other year and the guys I go with said town centre was the same, ridiculous. Pissed me right off. Though this year will be better as probably won't get as many, I swear they shifted out 20k extra tickets last year after Kauto was running.

You ever been to the November meet? Countryside festival. Would recommend it to everyone, It's like the Festival but about 20k less people, no police and you can walk where you want. It's like Cheltenham without suits and chavs.

I've normally only ever stayed from Tuesday till Friday morning, but stayed for Gold Cup day/night last year, didn't enjoy it all.

The first 3 days are awesome and a great night out in town, Friday was packed both at the course and town, loads of stag do's etc. If you enjoy queuing half hour for a piss by all means do Gold Cup day but it aint for me!
