Last year's Grand National, I betted on Sunnyhillboy to win, came second.

Today I betted on Sir Des Champs to win in the Gold Cup, comes second.

Another faller for me. Shambles.

Long Run and African Gold both placed so I should hopefully get a few pennies back from my free fiver.

Ruby's had a mare there for me. He should have switched him wide, if he'd have done that he would have stood up IMO. There's no doubt he was put off by the horse jumping right in front of him. He was going well as well, shame.

As for that drama in the foxhunters, the horse has obviously gone to run to the left when the rail ends before it realised that there was a bit of tape there. I think the course has to take responsibility for that result.

Ironically I was saying how the race lacked the usual unseatings for once.

Another great festival, sad to see it end as always.

Love Cheltenham, best week of the year.

I've ended up about £120 up (I've still got a horse to race).

I would be about £170 up but thanks to Coral's website going down as I was placing the bet, I didn't place the bet, I've phoned Coral and gone absoloutely balistic at them, poor girl on the other end, feel abit bad now but was fuming, i've also sent them an email complaing about their website, their customer service (Or lack of it). I missed on placing a bet with them earlier in the week when their website was down and it went on and won, once I can accept, but twice? When i'd have bet £10 (If you bet £10 on the first race you get a free £10 bet) on a 4/1 that won? So i've lost out on £50 and a free £10 bet? Fuming.

I'd actually placed the bet on Our Connor (1.30) but it came up with an error after I thought i'd placed it, then the website went slow and stopped working, obviously hadn't placed properly.

Hoping they compensate me in some way.

Worst service ever. Won't be using them again, I hope after Wednesday performance of people not able to get onto the site and todays performance of their website going down again before the first race they lose millions of customers and go bust. (Unless the do compensate me in some way, in which case i'll take all that back and give credit where credit is due, until then, that all stands though)

Just had Alderwood win the last and Drumshambo place bringing me up to about £135 up, if only Coral didn't fuck me up, I'd be looking at nearly £200.

Hope it was Alderwood you needed Bert.

Wow, good luck, what you need for the 6th?

Parsnip Pete. Why I didn't do Alderwood is beyond me.

Our connor and bobs worth have today left me even for the week. But i swore last night if our connor came in i was going big each way on long run who at the time was 6's.

Got busy at work and fogot to do it.

Would have turned me a profit. Ah well you live and learn.

Gone on tofino at 50's for the national in the hope he can redeem almost stopping at cheltenham.

Shambolic week for me. Tuesday was half decent with Simonsig and Quavega double and a £60 bet on The Fly. After that it was the pits, only one other winner in Sprinter Sacre at evens but that's hardly worth boasting about. I must be nearly £200 down I reckon. Bad doo.

Not sure if Bert seen my tweets from me at Cheltenham on Friday but I had a fantastic day betting and in general.

Had 4/6 winners and two each ways come in, Our Conor, At Fishers Cross, Salisfy and Alderwood all winning me big money and Long Run and Double Ross the each ways. In total won about £350 on the Friday and to go with profit from Tuesday it was a good festival, shame Wednesday and Thursday were such disasters!

Can't wait for next year.

Jt McNamara has been paralysed after his fall. So sad.

shocking news, but after waiting weeks to here any proper news you could always tell it was going to be really bad news. :(

Sad to hear the news of JT McNamara.

Albertas Run was retired yesterday aswell, one of my festival favourites, won me lots of money through the years, was a shame to see him go out like he did this year, I really fancied him for a place but unfortunately pulled up.
