goose2010 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Ackertac coming in second will help the my telegraph was 50/1 when I picked that! The Tristan -Davies pair always seem to do well in the last!
General Smuts Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Got pulled up after almost being annihilated by a faller in front of it. I hope the ****er got shot!
Guest MattP Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Shocker for me today, enjoyed the racing though, think that's one of the best days I've ever seena jockey have, Ruby was absolutely flawless. Beats McCoy on something AP hasn't moved on, takes an off the bridle Hurricane Fly up the hill and that sit on Quevega was something else, incredible patience.
Ric Flair Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 And whoever Paul Robinson is - you are in 23rd place overall. Can you let me know the lottery numbers for tonight please? Haha that's my mate, he works for betfair as a tipster but for football. I've had a shocker today, I did have Simonsig and Quavega double and £60 on the nose on The Fly but I lost £40 on River Maigue, £15 on Tenor Nivernais, £20 on Swing Bowler and £20 on Shangani. PITS!!!!
Uncle Albert Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Haha that's my mate, he works for betfair as a tipster but for football. PITS!!!! £78 up for me today - Hurricane Fly winning made me a lot of my winnings in a double with Simonsig and him in the single. Good returns off Fruity O'Rooney and Rock on Ruby E/W double too. Put a bit of my winnings on Quevega to buy some more profit, thank you Ruby!
Matt Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Not a bad day, I normally have a shocking start to the festival and then come good and get into profit during the last 2 days so i'm hoping it doesn't turn out the reverse this year and I just carry on having good days! I had a My Tent Or Yours, Simonsig, Hurricane Fly, Quevega accumulator, I knew atleast one would probably let me down and it was the one I thought would let me down, My Tent Or Yours, in hindsight I probably should have done a Lucky 15, or had he accumulator E/W, but the odds were for win only. So My Tent Or Yours came 2nd, atleast it was the first race and I knew my accumulator had bust so had time to fix it. I had Baily Green (40/1) E/W finish 2nd, only had a couple of quid E/W but it got me back even. I also had a Simonsig and Quevega double. Hurricane Fly single. Lost on Monkerty Tunkerty and Kruzhlinin. All in all after the first day I reckon i've made about £25 - £30 profit. Tomorrow looks tough to pick.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Did anyone see the Tesco van following the field round the outside of the course?
